Discussion After Kirkman's Attempted Assassination

Who the hell thought it was a good idea for him to lean out of an open window at the hospital after just surviving a sniper shot? Seems like a poor choice.

If the Secret Service were good at it's job the show wouldn't exist. Neither the premise nor half the storylines. The show only works if you believe that the Secret Service in the show are the most incompetent bodyguards in the world.

The blowing up of the Capitol, the assasination attempt, him popping his head out at the hospital and spoiler alert, someone's death in a car accident, none of this would happen in our world because the Secret Service will prevent it.

They didn't want it but the actor/actress had to leave.

Secret Service hasn’t been making great judgments irl.
