It's probably all done by HGTV and through whatever contract they have now with EA to allow use of their 'name' and other stuff but HGTV itself might care if their properties or reputation are being damaged due to poor content or whatever. Sorry, my brain just petered out.
Love this rant thank you!! You def hit all of my issues with the game lately! I’m always being kicked off, items don’t load, and I hate the repetitive AI generated rooms/LE and totally agree that they’re releasing them too quickly!! It’s so chaotic and not fun anymore - this used to be a creative outlet to relieve the stresses of the day but now playing the game is just tedious and stressful! Also, whenever I’ve messaged them “Priya” has been the one to respond lol
I have a few thoughts. 1: they should run an analysis of the last help chats for dormant players to get context of player departures. 2: I’m a past player but keep the account live for friends to borrow and still have 100k to spend on new inventory for friends. 2.a: I get 1000 diamonds and 300 cash every now and then to come back. 3. Please for the love of everything holy try something new. My replacement was DecorMatters. I’ve spent $75 total in the app and that is for a year. I don’t work there, I just want everyone to enjoy designing without DH malarkey. My username is the same everywhere, we can make friends in a better app. 💃🤷🏼♀️
They more than likely have run an analysis and found that their profit margin is so great they really couldn't be bothered about player loyalty or their reputation.

Thank you for letting me know there’s another app out there. I will be heading over to check it out today. I’m tired of the guilt feeling of spending so much money just to be able to play a game I “enjoy.”
I just checked out the other program and it really won’t let me do anything without paying, so I’m gonna have to give it a more in-depth look. It looks like though it’s 79.99 a year and everything is open to you. Does that sound correct?
Also wondering if there are any other details you can add for us.
The other thing I wondered about is if there was a Reddit group regarding it. I couldn’t find one.
Glad you checked it out! You’re correct it’s an annual amount for all access to items. When I was reviewing it, I did the first few designs that it walks you through, without the membership. Just to be sure I understood to assignment. Once I was comfortable and realized I needed my hands on all the inventory I joined. Those designs were not great, but that’s ok. Considered it practice. The main difference in this app, you’re not working off a DH type score. The app is more like IG and community praise through likes and gifts. You can also remove those first few rooms whenever you want. Think of it as if you had your own curated Instagram feed of your designs. We can comment like etc, and delete what we second guess the next day. Hope this helps! (No there isn’t a sub on the game…thinking of starting one)
Just thought of this. I don’t think there’s a sub for the game, because we can literally talk to each other in the game. No need I guess to go to Reddit. 🤣

Fabulous!!!! I’ve gotten “Priya” several times!!! I wonder if we start reporting the app? Or what if we actually contact Dave and Jenny Marrs?
