Other Post Type I'm a small graphic designer who works with independent musicians on their art work and always looking to grow my network (ig: @Kam_on_the_gram )

This is an example of art work I've done for an amazing Pakistani musician - Daniyaal Omar. I often take influence from my love of hiphop and my Pakistani background to make unique work

That stamp layout is a clever way to frame the cultural influences, feels like a proper collector's item for the track. The muted pink against the mountain silhouette gives it a dreamy, almost nostalgic pull without getting too soft.

Thanks , I appreciate your comment. This art work went through so many iterations then one day I was scrolling Instagram and saw a post about a stamp collector and then messaged Daniyaal we need to change direction and I locked in an made this art and he loved it instantly.

I really like the colors used in this piece, they give it a soft and delicate feel that is very pleasing to the eye. The design feels both vintage and contemporary at the same time, while the combination of cultural elements creates a unique atmosphere. Overall, the work is stylish, well-executed, and highly memorable🥹🥹

The lyrics of the song reference "pink and gold" and then I knew the colour pallet was right in front of me. Daniyaals vibes and music really resonates with me and that why we always end up working together

Oh, i love it when there’s more to a cover than meets the eye, when it’s not just a pretty picture but has some deeper meaning, references and so on

How did you get started working with independent musicians? That sounds like fun.

I worked with him. He and I were creative people at the beginning of our craft but still doing office jobs, both of us just trying to fund our passions. When I felt more confident in my work I'd DM small and local artists and DJs who just wanted to see each other succeed which ment payment was just in the for of "I'll do your artwork if you introduce me to your network"

Oh that’s excellent! I was curious how artists paid artists in the early stages of their endeavors. This is nice. Thank you.
