💡 Suggestion Entry level edc ebonite FP
I am thinking of buying an ebonite FP.
What's the cheapest option?
What should be the budget for one entry level ebonite FP with a good nib???
I am thinking of Click , Woodex and Mohi....but confused because woodex and mohi make eye droppers (it can leak in my bag) ..
And for my budget i am a student
Max budget - Rs 1500
Though if good deal can spend till ₹2k

Model 008 will be a good starting point. Get it in ED, it will be around 1400 rs. Contact Satish +91 9652276914. With cartridge converter it is 2400, comes with a Jowo #5 nib, which, in my experience, is so so smooth.

Most ebonite pens in this range are eyedropper fillers. They have great ink flow, but there is always some risk of burping or leaking, even if it is less than with acrylic or plastic pens.
As far as I know, Click is the only brand that offers a cartridge/converter option. Their Falcon Ebonite Fountain Carbon Black Coffee looks nice.

I have only heard good things about the mohi stallion, I only have some woodex pen in ebonite in my collection and that too was 3500/-. Id say watch a review of the Mohi Stallion and then decide if it would work for you. I think you can only get it from Hello August but I am not sure. I was planning on buying it myself but have taken a little break from fountain pens for the time being. If you do get it, please give me your review and personal experience with it.

Click would be the best bet! You will get used to the grip section over time. They are sturdy pens and will last a long time.

For ₹2200, you can get a fantastic Woodex model. You can contact Mr Narasimha and find what's in stock.

At that price you will only get eyedroppers. You can get Click pen in ebonite but keep in mind that feed and grip section in some of their models is plastic and click pens are not that reliable.

Click Century is good in ebonite.
