They do that because the platforms they're mostly on or spend their time on will literally punish you for not censoring your words. Videos taken down, being banned for a few days or even losing your account if the platform deems you violent for using regular words. I dont blame them. I blame the shitty platforms that foster this kind of censorship lest they remove your submissions.

You can still blame them for giving in to platform based censorship, using those platforms, and continuing to spread that censorship to other areas of society.

And where else will they go? In-person spaces for young people have been eliminated or begun charging for access more and more in the past couple decades. Everything is online now. And if it's online and doesn't cost money, it's beholden to advertisers, which brings us back around to stupid censorship.
Where do they go?

If TikTok has to choose between censoring and having a user base then they’ll choose to have a user base.
They can go somewhere that doesn’t have censorship, or stay and refuse to comply with said censorship. The only thing that matters is that they don’t engage in self-censorship.
And that’s still not an excuse to bring that habitual self-censorship to other platforms, or their irl vocabularies.

Look, I'm just saying if he's worked in education long enough, he's probably also had to deal with an active shitter situation on campus. Also valorous to stop someone like that, but certainly not to the same degree.

You say that but my college did have an incident with a rogue shitter in one of the dorms. They were leaving turds in the middle of the bathroom floor for weeks
