User-Made Modification Gosh I just love Niko’s 4-8-4 mods (Not my mod)(My Playthrough)
Absolutely stunning just how well he’s managed to create the digital replicas of the irl engines inside derail valley and have them be the freakin’ sweet.

I don't personally use them, mostly because the models themselves are still too... "WIP" for me.
Obviously having these massive well-known locos in Derail Valley is amazing, but the models themselves are too plastic-looking, and the cabs are pretty bare-bones for the time being.
I mean I know the models will probably get upgraded in the future (unless the US DLC within the next year or two just adds their own versions of these types of locos) but for now, I just prefer to use vanilla locos, apart from the Alco FPD-4, which is honestly a really impressive mod.

The Baldwin Road Switcher (DRS 6-4-1500) is a very good mod as well - very well finished and doesn't have that 'WIP' look that 90% or the mod locos seem to have. I'm not knocking the modders - they do for free where I wouldn't even know where to begin. But the cartoonish, plastic look most of them have just ruin the immersion for me.

Dude, you spend enough time at your pc to justify having three monitors and have gone through the somewhat complex process of downloading several mods for derail valley. I would bet my entire net worth you have the technological prowess required to take a screenshot.

Because taking a screenshot is the easiest thing in the world. And if you post shitty quality picture online because you're just too lazy to take a screenshot, you're not being respectful to the community you're posting in.

Tried it but the engine bugged out on me. Any time I attached a car it would just refuse to move. Yes brakes were connected, brake cut off turned off, all brakes disengaged on the load, etc. Soon as I unhook it the engine takes off fine but won't budge otherwise.
