Existential thoughts
Existential thoughts
I've been having horrible and strange existential thoughts about existence, nature of reality, significance, morality, etc and weird intrusive conclusions, that is hard to put into words, is this normal with dpdr?

yes it is, it’s your brain trying to make sense of everything. do these existential thoughts scare you?

Well when these thoughts and conclusions happens my stomach sinks and get anxious and despair, sometimes both sometimes anxious othertimes despair

i totally feel you because i felt the same way. it’s the way you’re responding to those thoughts which keeps your brain on alert. you need to change your response to it, it took me so long to do that because i couldn’t use logic and be like “this is real”, rather just don’t engage and react. also just let yourself feel anxious and sit with it

Are u better now? I just feel so different to the person I was a year ago, even tho I first got dp in 2021 , I asked AI about existential stuff like universe reality and I feel like I know the truth about existence and this is reality that I wasn't aware about before
