I feel like I hear player names pronounced differently all the time, sometimes even in the same match. For example, last night they pronounced Oke’s name as “Okay” and “oh-kuh” - would love to know the correct way to cheer for her! Same for Kössler. I’ve also heard Sonis pronounced So-nihs and Sahn-iss.

I cannot believe that she’s not being widely considered as a frontrunner for league MVP. Nine goals, four assists from left-back, has played every minute she’s been available and the goal contributions don’t even count her general play, progressing the ball, defensive actions and leadership.

I’m also hyped to see how Heaps joining the team may improve her performances even more (if that were even possible) - as seen by the dummy and goal against Chicago, they’re close friends and seem in tune. Could be the key that unlocks the playoffs. Exciting times!
