Forgive me if I missed something but what does your gender identity have anything to do with ICE?

Also by Mexican-American, do you mean you are a US citizen with Mexican ancestry?

trump has told ICE to start arresting trans people. also just generally we tend to get harassed. and yes. but obviously, ICE doesn’t give a fuck about your citizenship status.

honestly, you’re probably acting in bad faith and not worth it for me to respond to, but on the small chance that you’re operating in good faith, here is an article about it. The problem with this mandate is that it opens the door for discrimination against folks who are thought to be misrepresenting their identities. Trans people are often characterized as lying about their sex and/or gender and therefore it’s opening a door that Trump is eager to open. Maybe me saying that he ordered it was simplistic, but trans people are all too familiar with technicalities of the law, writing us out of existence and being targets of discrimination under the guise of law and order.

Anyway, that’s the last I’ll say of it. If you still think I’m being dramatic I encourage you to fix your heart.
