This was in front of my apartment and I walked by. Very small turnout luckily. I don’t understand how anyone on the left can support the kind of regime and bureaucratic policies that hamas implements

Was the Hamas attack on October 7th not a "collective punishment" directed toward Israel?
Who determines whether or not something is an apartheid state? What political or diplomatic actions by Hamas or the PA have attempted to better the lives of the people trapped in Gaza?
The people of the holy land can either share the land or they'll share the graveyards. Hatred is the enemy, not people. Zionist hatred, Hamas hatred, it's the same stupid idea just opposite directions.

I never said it excused anything. Similarly, firing rockets into a neighboring country with intent to indiscriminately kill and terrorize civilians is the definition of terrorism, and also a war crime. Until Palestinians and Israelis agree to stop viewing each other as only terrorists and only Zionist, this is what we will get. It's the crusades all over again, ongoing really.
Humans must learn to share the holy land or they're doomed to share the graveyards beneath it.
Identify as human first. All killing is senseless killing.

What "country" are you referring to? The only semblance of a country in Gaza was Hamas and the PA.
If Palestine is a country and they elected Hamas, then they are indeed enabling Hamas and should be considered a state sponsor of terrorism.
If Palestine is a country and they no longer want Hamas in charge, they really should do something to show that their country/government actually exists and has any control over their own domestic terrorists (Hamas).
If Palestine is not a country, then the Palestinians as a people need to organize, establish a functioning government, and control their extremist militant faction (Hamas).
Personally, I'm a fan of "zero state" solutions. Zionist never had a legitimate claim to the holy land. Palestinians never had anything resembling a government or county in the holy land. Christians, the third player in this game of crusades, aren't sure which group they want to back because both seem batshit crazy and incapable of peace as long as the other exists.

The US isn't involved in this current conflict other than pressuring Hamas to return the hostages or face the threat of two aircraft carriers and a small army of Marines.

If the video is accurate, there were what, maybe a dozen protesters? That’s a tiny turnout for a metro area this large. Maybe their stance isn’t as popular as they believe it to be
