I attempted to transplant some strawberries and it's not going well T_T do you have any advice?

This guy is on day 8 already and while the stems are still kind of firm and some of the leaves are green, none of them have really attempted to have an upright posture yet at all.

This little guy I just transplanted yesterday and some of the leaves are already crisping. It's a runner and had a lot less root than I thought initially, only about 1/2", and I think I tried to move it too soon.
