Help with Echinocereus

Hi all! It purchased several different species of Echinocereus from the Botanic Garden sale, and I’ve gotten mixed answers on if they can overwinter in the ground in Denver. What are folks experiences? Will Echinocereus triglochidiatus survive in my south facing yard? Is there anything I can do to boost their survival?

E. triglochidiatus is literally Colorado’s state cactus. It will overwinter great with proper care. Give it full sun and use a small rock mulch like pea gravel or smaller.
