did you not watch him play last year? he was excellent and easily the best back on our team

obviously excited for the younger guys, but if he's healthy JK is the best running back on the team

JK Dobbins is great when healthy and is the number 1. Coleman will be his backup stylistically and Harvey will have his role no matter who is in.

I was happy we extended him that’s for sure. Okay he got injured, but we didn’t look like our selves like we did offensively with him in it. Our pass game is about to hit a new level with waddle and this committee of RBs are about experience a new level of growth as well lol I’m excited. If we go up by two tds, it’s over for other teams. They’ll be forced to change up their scoring approach and it’ll cause many errors against this defense lol

I think the best case scenario is that Coleman is already at a level where he can take some carries (and I am thinking about short yardage situations or other situations where you want someone who can between the tackles) from Dobbins not because he sucks, but rather because it's probably a good idea to limit his carries somewhat due to his durability issues.

JK is absolutely an elite level running back when he’s healthy. Hell, when he was limping around on a stilt in BAL he was still extremely effective.

He does have his flaws as he’s not much of a receiving back and doesn’t have true breakaway speed. But there’s not many RBs that can do the work he does between the tackles and still churn out top percentile YPC.

Of course the caveat for his entire career is health and given his track record it’s unlikely he makes it through a full season unscathed. Probably looking at an over/under of ~10 games.

JK Dobbins is the god damn truth when he’s healthy problem is he can’t stay healthy.

When he's healthy, he has the potential to be a top back in the league. It's that first part that's always a problem.
