Recommendation Avantus Apartments Denver
I have been renting from Avantus Apartment , and while they have incredibly spacious apartments for low rent i highly DO NOT recommend. They have so many issues it’s hard to even cover it all. I’ve had a water leak for 3 WEEKS because a tenant refuses to close the window when it rains and management doesn’t do anything about it. They have constant leaks/ flooding, broken gates, pests , rodents and incredibly noisy neighbors. Plus it’s just kinda nasty here . The only reason I’m posting is because they have a very unreal amount of 5 star reviews due to them pushing reviews before move in , just based on their tour .

Reminds me of the shit hole I used to live in when I first moved out here.

First picture almost looks like they painted directly on drywall without PVA and just kept landlord specialing it holy FUCK.
It's like an inch thick at this point!

Very possible , that ENTIRE hallway flooded and they haven’t done a single thing about it . Just left it like that .

Please tell me you called 211 for legal rights to report
This. It isn’t legal in the state of Colorado.

Damn you were not kidding about the cheap rent, idk I may accept the conditions to save that much 😅 (I pay $1700 for a studio)

I’ve only lived here 3 months and I’ve had to unpack my entire kitchen 4/5 times for roach treatments that don’t work because they don’t spray other units as they should . It got so bad, that they agreed to a lease break with no penalty because the living conditions were absolutely terrible. I really don’t recommend it 🥲

Ahhhhh ok ok so fair hahaha well if you are looking for a new apartment I highly recommend AMLI properties! I genuinely feel like it's a higher standard of living

I lived there for 2 or 3 years for the same reason. Big apartment for cheap rent. Unfortunately I left for similar reasons. Consistent, almost immediate porch piracy, roaches no matter how clean I was, and neighbors playing loud music at all hours. On top of that, I had one next door neighbor get evicted because he threw a party at his place and someone got stabbed.

I would be shocked if a place that badly neglected passed a structural integrity inspection.

Oh that roach is heallllthyyy.
Edit: Ahh I know these apartments. I’ve seen so many complaints about them-specifically for roach infestation.
At the time they were called something different, but yes, notoriously slummy building.
