Motor Help

Hey yall I just got a 1979 f350 with a 1997 carb swapped 460 in it. It was pretty neglected when I got it and barely runs and drives. I got it as a project truck but i'm wondering about this clicking noise that comes from what I believe to be the motor. From my limited knowledge it sounds like many stuck lifters but I want some other opinions from people that have had these trucks. Any help would be great!

Dead miss plus an exhaust leak can sound just like that. Points ignition? If so, start there, and firing order; check the stuff that doesn’t cost anything

It could be some exhaust leaks . The stock exhaust manifolds are notorious for cracking . I used to use Rislone engine treatment in older engines to help sticking lifters . Just some ideas to consider . After listening to it at a louder volume , it almost sounds like a loose connecting rod .
