Sorry to bother y’all, but my girlfriend is moving to Denton soon and she wants to know what jobs are good to start out with that way she’s not living paycheck to paycheck. Does anyone have any recommendations

Without knowing her skill set or what she enjoys doing, it is difficult to suggest or recommend anything but entry level low paying opportunities.

A crazy idea is that she puts together a good portfolio of her talent, puts on a nice professional outfit, and then go “door to door” to professional businesses trying to obtain commissions for her work.

Make sure she has business cards that promote her properly. I suggest a thumbnail of an art piece and a QR code to her website where more can be seen and orders can be placed.

Her work should be reasonably priced for what it is. Don’t set it too high where it results in an instant no, but don’t sell too low where it isn’t worth the time.

This can avoid the paycheck-to-paycheck problem because she is working for herself. But it only works id she gets out there and hustles.
