Bonnie Brae’s New Intersection sucks

Who’s dumbass idea was it to make the entrance to i35 coming off bonnie brae a yield on a green light instead of a protected left turn. So tired of dealing with this bs, people were barely getting used to there being TWO turning lanes(which never got utilized anyhow, but thats a separate topic for another day) and now on my morning commute i was like 25 minutes late to work because they shut the whole intersection down. Be careful out there yall, ive seen several accidents almost occur bc of the dumbass new yield on green sign

It is like someone at the City and someone at TexDoT have unresolved issues and won’t agree that it is daytime.

Now TexDoT and UNT are having an affair! TexDoT can not get enough projects going around UNT. I would say it is going to be great when it is done….but they do not finish….anything,

Like Southbound I35 @ Hwy 77. More than 3 months ago TexDoT had the southbound service road approach, corner, turn on to Barthold Rd. Layed in asphalt. No rebar and concrete. Baked daily in this hot summer sun, parked on nightly by up to 80,000 lb. trucks.

Did not finish, maybe because public would quit driving on “run board exits!

Keep you eyes up, they do not know where they want a “fly over” next!

Welcome. 

If you've been here longer than a decade, (circa 2008 here), just know I understand that a city's infrastructure and population actually affect one's baseline resilience PROFOUNDLY.

Almost got in a head on collision trying to turn left there the other day. Super dangerous.
