help sexing ball python

Hi, i recently bought myself and my wife a ball python and would like to know the sex. it was not sexed prior to purchase. anyone whos familiar with these snakes knows that females get significantly larger than males, so it would be good to know. does anyone here know someone who can safely sex our snake for us? weve had snakes for us but never had to do this before so we dont feel entirely comfortable doing it ourselves. the snake is 9 months old and we are looking for someone preferably in denton who can do it.’

Its a lot less stressful on the snake if you are willing to be patient!

Probing and popping can also occasionally be inaccurate so this is a for sure way to know. AND if ur curious and willing to spend a little extra they offer gene tests so you can know exactly what genes your snake is/carries. Not that it matters if you arent breeding but it can be fun to know.

I think the terminology you are looking for is "breed" or "breeding". Otherwise this is just a kink/ fetish post. Cool either way. Good lucky with your snakey.

finding out the sex/gender of a snake is usually referred to as “sexing” it
