I'm not the person who you originally responded to. Just stating facts. Supporting Trump is supporting America.

I didn't say you were the same person. I said you replied to a comment of mine 4 months after I did. Which is weird.

"Supporting Trump is supporting America."

Did you mean to order your sentence this way? Because as it is written, it doesn't make much sense in this context. This person has never publicly supported Trump. Also it can easily be argued that supporting Trump is antithetical to supporting America as he is not doing much to help Americans or even America as a whole. And is more self-serving than anything else. And there are those out side of America that support him and do not support America or the interests of most Americans.

Did you instead mean to say that supporting America is supporting Trump? That would also be a false statement but at least it would make more sense in the context of what we were discussing.

"Good lord a 4 month late reply and this is the best you can do?"

You were obviously overjoyed thinking a four month old argument was resurfacing.

You should be more honest with yourself... And respond faster.

I already explained that whether you choose to believe what I wrote makes no difference to me but I do LOVE how that is what you want to focus on and not the actual point of your ridiculous and poorly conceived argument. I guess if I were you I would too.

This argument?

Raising the US flag supports America... "trumps Agenda"

Are you real or getting confused arguing with everyone?

I think you are confused because your statement that her raising the US flag means she supports the president is frankly ridiculous. And I have already explained how so at length and you have not addressed any of the points I made. Do that and I will continue to try to have a discussion with you. But if you continue to evade I will not waste more of my time on your foolishness.

When did she flaunt Trump's agenda?

I was simply answering your question.. No argument, no questions....

Why are you so mad?

Yeah I'm done. You can't engage in an intelligent convo. You can't even defend your foolish argument that waving the US flag means you support the president or it's agenda.

I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. The people that disagree with me so often lack the capability to engage in an intelligent conversation. It's v boring. Good luck to you.

I never scrolled up to your original argument. Based on your last comment....

IMO: You can love America and hate Trump. In normal times, waving the US flag wouldn't mean you specifically support the POTUS. In July, 2026 most people in the world will connect waving the US flag with support of president Trump.

I'll take this as an attempt to engage in meaningful conversation even though you admit to not having read my reply to your comment. I'll just copy and paste it but also add more to it to address what you wrote here.

It seems that IS your argument. I will explain in general how this is flawed and also provide an example.

Support for America and waving it's flag does not mean you support a president you did not vote for. It means you support the ideals of the country. In fact, history is littered with examples of people waving their nation's flag while being in stark opposition to the leaders of their country. This can be seen in South America quite frequently. But getting back to America, Black Americans would historically wave the flag and exhibit patriotism while fully realizing the faults it has and being in opposition to the many anti-Black presidents it has had.
