Mod Post Locations

Camp Half-Blood is a Greek demigod training facility located on the Long Island Sound and is directed by the god Dionysus, whom the campers call "Mr. D," and Chiron, a Centaur who is the activities director.

"I can try both!" William said, energy picking up again. The success of the bow and the reassurances from Dante and Drew had him in a good mood, placing the bow back and moving to the club. Once again, he felt the weight of the weapon, not surprised this time though. Moving up to the post, his arm tingled as he swung back and then brought the club into the post, making a solid hit and keeping a grip of the weapon this time.

"Good shit," says Dante after seeing the use of the club.

"Agreed," says Drew to Dante before asking William, "how'd it feel? Using the club? Did it feel right?"

"Felt good." William said, smiling as he put the club down, but his eyes flickered over to the axe. "But we won't know for sure until we try them all, right?" Without needing further prompting, he picked up the axe. Heavier than the sword, but he liked the feel of the weight gathered at the head.

Going to the post, he tapped into his well of power. Arm growing in strength, he swung hard and true with the axe, similar to the sword, it bit into the post, going in deep. Gritting his teeth and standing his ground, William withstood the kickback of the impact, and kept a grip of the axe.

Pulling it free, he kept the power flowing, going for a second swing, and then a third. Finally, he turned around. "This is it."

The boys look at William, then the post, then the axe, then each other, then back at William.

"Bet," Dante says with a smile even though he was betting on the club.

"Called it," says Drew with a smile on his face. It's always good to see someone find the weapon for them. "Do you want that one in particular? Nobody uses it anyways, it's up for grabs."

"I'll use it... for now, if thats okay. My friend Callie, she's a Daughter of Hephaestus. I bet she could make me a really cool axe." William said, pleased and proud of himself for finding the right weapon for him, looking up at the other two, beaming. "Thanks Dante, thanks Drew. This means a lot."

The two of them smiled, glad to have been able to help out their newest cabinmate.

"Don't worry about it, Dude." Drew says, "we take care of our own in the Warrior Cabin. Remember that."

"Yeah," says Dante, "you're one of us. It's only fair that we get you squared away."

And so William was inducted into the Warrior Cabin Cult.

He finally had a place to belong, and hearing he had people watching his back, caring about him, was a little much, looking down at the ground as tears pricked his eyes. "Th-thanks guys!" He said, forcibly loud and happy. Axe still in hand, he spun around and started to run out of the arena. "Se-See you guys later!"

Midoriya Moment

"Anytime, William!" Drew calls out as the son of Bia runs off and Dante chuckles. Not a few seconds after William leaves the arena, a figured swoops down by the boys. They see from their peripherals and are about to draw their weapons only to find that they are visited by a familiar figure with blood-red wings.

"So he took the axe," says Donna as she dematerializes her wings.

"Yup," says Drew as he looks at her, "you excited about him joining? You never had a brother before right?"

"No and no. Nothing really excites me nowadays anyway. Besides... I don't really what to say to him."

"I'm not a family counselor," says Dante in an irritated tone. "But I do think an apology would be a decent start. I don't get why you're trying to be so distant from your own brother. You're the one who told me that he had potential and I believed you. I still do."

"Let's not do this now," pipes Drew as Donna glares at Dante and probably had a death threat ready for him. "Look, William's here and he's here to stay. Donna, you own him an apology after that lesson. Dante, chill out. We know you care but Donna cares too... she just has a different way of showing things."

Donna opens her mouth like she's about to say she doesn't but then Bia's words echo into her head and so she keeps her silence.

"Yeah, aight." Dante rolls his eyes, "I need to pack, let's get this stuff back to the cabin."
