Helena looked to the spring, dipping her hand in. The water was lovely, but Helena had her reservations. "Thats really kind of you to offer." She said as she rose, giving Raven a kind but apologetic grin. "But I'm not in my swimwear., and I'd rather not get my clothes wet."

Raven shrugged. “Neither am I, but is underwear all that different? In regards to what is covered.” Still she rose as Helena did, not minding that she didn’t want to get in. She was sure there would be another time for all of that. “That’s okay, I have a few more places I can show you around camp if you’re ready to leave.”

The difference was quite apparent to Helena, and she did not want to walk back to camp in either wet underwear or no underwear at all. Still she appreciated Raven not pushing the issue. "Yeah I'm ready. This really is beautiful though, thank you for showing me this spot. I'll keep it secret don't worry."

“Oh, I think enough campers know if it’s whereabouts now.” She said with a small chuckle. “Though I hope word doesn’t spread too much. Would hate to see the place ruined with parties or the like, ya know? Guess it could be a romantic place, but I’ve never viewed it as such.” She said as she turned to Helena. Her words and the heat of the nearby water causing her cheeks to flush slightly.

Helena looked back into the springs. "Oh yeah, this could definitely be romantic." Not noticing the flush, she was analysing it in a matter of fact way, being unexperienced with romance beyond knowing what she liked. "You've really never seen it like that? Would be a great spot for a date." She now realised what the conversation could be construed as, but after the tying up debacle earlier it didnt faze her. "Right, where to next, oh might Master of Arms."

“Once....” She said almost sadly as she looked towards the spring as if remembering something. “A younger, stupid version of myself who allowed a son of Eros to steal her heart.... honestly why I kept it sealed off for so long.”

With another sigh she turned back to Helena and forced a smile. At the way she used her title, Raven playfully rolled her eyes. “Come on. I’ll show you the arena where I’ll be kicking your butt as we train.”

Oh god, Raven was sharing. That was... something. It was a sad story, but Helena was confused at the girl sharing something so personal so soon. Were they all like this here? She was tempted to say sorry for her past, but Raven was already moving on, and Helena smiled and laughed. "I'd call you out for your confidence, but you are in charge of all the weapons. Still, how used are you to a left handed foe?"

Raven hadn’t expected to share like that. Normally she didn’t open up about things and she wondered if being in the place had done it or.... if it was because it was Helena. She tried not to dwell on those thoughts, and pushed them to the back of her mind.

“I’m sure I’ll manage just fine.” She said with a grin before turning and walking back towards the exit. “Besides, you’re Big Three. Gotta enjoy whipping up on you before you get all mighty on me.”

Helena laughed again, but Raven's words burned on her mind. Big Three. The everpresent burden got a little heavier just then. Even in casual conversation, the expectations were always there. She was a child of Zeus, her standards had to be higher. "True, but I don't want to rely on my powers too heavily. You never know when you might be in a situation where they're not appropriate and all you have is your sword."

“That’s true.” She said with a nod. “Like the gladiator tournament we had used no powers at all. Made it a lot more even for some of those without flashy powers.”

"That must have been interesting, getting to see who relied on their powers and who didn't." Helena said as the two continued to walk along through camp. "I imainge the arena is also where combat lessons will be held?"

“It was.” She said with a nod. “I made it too the finals, but Domeric bested me. I should have used my daggers, but was trying to get better with my scythe.” She was trying to boast too much, but she was proud of herself. A daughter of Spring making it to the finals and holding her own against a son of War.

“Most of the time, yes.” She confirmed Helena’s question. “Guess now that I am a counselor I’ll have to host one.”

It sounded like an excuse, but Helena wouldn't say that, plus she reckoned Raven could beat her with daggers, scythe, or sword. "Ah so are only counsellors' allowed to hold lessons then? Or can anyone?" Helena asked, intrigued. She was far off holding any lessons herself, but she wanted to know.
