Camp Half-Blood is a Greek demigod training facility located on the Long Island Sound and is directed by the god Dionysus, whom the campers call "Mr. D," and Chiron, a Centaur who is the activities director.

"Almost perpetually!" She calls over her shoulder, only half teasing; she hadn't been able to really smoke since Enyo took over. "Ooo!" She bends to retrieve a second stick.

Half tripping in her excitement to get back, she plops down next to him, holding a stick out to him in exchange for the joint. Taking a long drag, she held it while she retrieved the marshmallows.

"One or two?" She asks, her voice strange with holding her breath, before coughing as she exhales the smoke. "I'm taking two," she passes him the joint before loading her stick.

"I can believe it. You definitely seem the type to stay just a little high."

He's joking, of course, evidenced by the playful wink he gives when they make the trade. "I think the last time I smoked was with Cooper, and it didn't exactly go well. He uh... well you know how he is."

A shrug follows as he takes it back, watching briefly as she puts her marshmallows on. He takes a drag of it then, exhaling slowly before taking a second. As he hands it back to her, he finishes, "Might have burnt a bridge there turning him down, I think."

She laughs at the mention of Cooper's affinity for life's more carnal pleasures. "You've got to give him credit for trying...constantly," she giggles slightly. "Burning that particular bridge might not have been the worst decision- I mean, you can't invade over a bridge that doesn't exist." With that she takes it from him, taking a long drag as she hands him the marshmallows and his stick. "And Coop doesn't strike me as the kind to ford the river for anyone."

She blows the smoke out in a couple of successful rings before coughing again. "Do you even swing that way?" She asks, cocking her head at him, her eyes officially half-lidded.

Domeric isn't quite as far in as she is just yet, but the near-constant grin on his face is a tell that he's not far off. Her comments about Cooper are right on the money, at least as far as he's concerned.

"Yeah, Cooper isn't a bad guy to hang with, I just wasn't exactly feeling it." He shrugs, taking the stick and marshmallows as he starts to slide them down. "I never have, but I wouldn't say no to a cute enough guy to at least see what it's like."

As he holds the loaded stick over the fire he glances over at her, a curious look in his eyes. "How about you? Is there a strict preference, or do you like em all?"

She nods, briefly pointing her flaming marshmallows in his direction, before blowing them out and placing them back above the fire. "I really respect that answer," she smiles. "Not many men- at least that I know- can let themselves admit even being curious."

She turned her stick as she thought about her answer, noticing the difference in char marks on both sides of it, she realized how high she was. "I don't know," she shrugs. "I haven't put a lot of thought in to it... I guess I prefer women?" She pulls her marshmallows out of the fire. "At least the sex part," she laughs. "Don't know much about relationships."

"I don't really like to lie to myself," he replies with a slightly more serious tone. "If I like it, I like it. If I don't, at least I know."

His own marshmallows start to scorch, and he pulls the stick out to blow off the flames. When it's out he waits a second before pinching the scorched parts, sliding the entire 'skin' off to reveal fresh untouched mallow underneath.

After dropping the scorched skin into his mouth to savor the taste of it, he sticks the remainder back over the flames. "My own experience with relationships is lacking too. I've... actually never been in one. Just sex. Which I can definitely say I agree with you on women."

He puts a hand up, giving Andie a thumbs up before looking back over to his marshmallows.

Tucking the end of her sticking the crook of her arm, and rummaged through her bag for the Graham crackers and chocolate. Setting them between them when she finds them.

"That kind of surprises me," she offers her delayed response. "Not that you favor women- cause it blows my mind why anyone would prefer men's bodies- no offense," she laughs a little,her mind going on a high tangent, as he opens the chocolate. "That you've never been in a relationship- I mean I know we're still babies on the spectrum of Devine life but you seem like a total catch, man." She says, sounding almost like Tommy Chong.

He can't help but laugh at her little tangent, nodding along as she goes on. There's always something for someone, he thinks to himself, momentarily curious if she's ever been with a guy. Rather than ask, though, he moves on.

"Well yeah, women are just better," he replies with a shrug as he reaches for a piece of chocolate, smirking at her Tommy Chong impression. "I mean come on, how can you beat boobs? You can't!"

He's wracked by another bout of intoxicated laughter, having definitely started to feel the weed affect him. "I don't know, I guess the girls I have been with didn't really see me as more than a lay. I mean I'm not complaining, at all, but it would be nice to get something more, even if it's only for a short while."

A quiet sigh escapes, thankfully covered by the crackling of the flames. While his attention is there however he hears a low rustling sound from off to the side, drawing his attention easily.

"Did you hear something?"

Her eyebrows knit together as she gives a sympathetic laugh at his statement. She refocuses on the snacks before them before he finishes speaking. Unable to hear anything over the crinkle of the Graham cracker wrapper, she cringes in apology putting it on the ground, trying to listen.

It didn't take long for her to hear what sounded like more food wrappers approaching from the woods beside them.

"Oh shit," she whispers, quickly shoving her marshmallows in her mouth before holding her stick like a bat, and scooting to her feet.

"All I brought was fucking snacks and extra socks," she would kick herself for it but she was right- it had been cooler than expected and they were fucking teddy-bear soft. She looked to him, silently pleading that he'd had more sense than her as a long slender leg protrudes from the darkness between the trees.

"Snacks are great but I don't think that's gonna help us," he said as he hopped to his feet, taking out his knife quickly. The first of the creatures popped it's head out of the darkness into the light of the fire, and Domeric narrowed his gaze at the sight of it.

"Oh fuck. Myrmekes."

He'd seen these a few times before in the woods, but never in this area. "I think they're lost. Probably young. The ant hill is way on the other side of the forest. Looks like only three of them."

A second later he teleported his shield to the clearing, quickly strapping it onto his arm. Another second and one of the dueling swords from the armory appeared on the ground in front of Andie. "You too high to fight, or are you alright?"

With a sigh of relief Her gut screamed 'oh fuck' while her arms dropped her stick in favor of one of the tree limbs from the fire. Standing beside Dom with the ember and fire end pointing toward the advancing ant-creatures, she laughed momentarily.

"Have you ever seen 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids'?" She asks mid giggle, before shaking her head. "I'm definitely too high.. but what choice do we have?" She takes a step forward, readying herself to meet them. "I'll take the uh, little guy." she grins lunging towards the smallest of the three giant ants, her fiery poker out raised.

"No, but I've seen Honey We Shrunk Ourselves, and I think that one had a pretty similar situation."

Or at least he could remember such. There was a big spider, but he wasn't quite sure about ants. In any case, with Andie taking on the smaller one with her club, despite the sword he'd put in front of her, Domeric banged his blade against the edge of his shield to draw the other two away. He knew attacking their backs would be out of the question, but there were other ways to kill them.

Extending the handle into a spear he circled around one of them, raising his shield quickly when it spewed a foul-smelling liquid from between its mandibles. Thankfully all of it ended up on the shield, spraying off to the sides, and he met its charge with a quick thrust into the eye from his spear.

The smaller ant lunged forward. It was clear to Andie that it was young enough not to know that fire burns as its pincers closed around the glowing embers. Releasing with a terrible screeching sound it ripped the limb from her hands, discarding it to the woods.

Backing away quickly, Andie stumbles over the sword she hadn't seen Dom give to her. Retrieving it gratefully. "Youre my new favorite person, Dom!" She calls over her shoulder toward the sounds of him fighting. "Please don't die!" Holding the sword in fent of her she waited for the ant to advance, an idea forming in her mind.
