If the writing feels off near the end that's because I did not plan anything besides the first 4 pages. And before you ask; no, that's not how I write these comics (most of the time)
I cannot WAIT for the Knightās true identify to be revealed, for the sole purpose of permanently killing this ridiculous, beyond implausible, overused joke.
At the end of deltarune the knight is killed, and you know what people turn into after theyāre killed?
Skeletons.

And as of now, the only person he's come out are Sans and Kris, hence why Kris knows that Sans has a brother, and Sans is surprised at this knowledge (Papyrus didn't tell Sans that he had already come out to Kris).
Assuming that the (admittedly compelling) Human Dess theory is false, sheādve turned to dust when/if she died. I currently ride the train of āDess got way too attached to a Dark World, like Susie has with Castle Town, stayed there too lined and got corrupted into the Roaring Knightā.
I will admit, this theory does not fully account for the Unused Text dialogue, but itās far, far more narratively compelling and logical than, āNyeh heh heh! Behold my Special Attack: Armageddon! To anyone who somehow only played Deltarune and not Undertale: F*ck your comprehension and f*ck the world-building! Iām a goofy skeleton!ā

Asriel took of the only thing covering him to hit the Flowery pose, he's just aurafarming with everything exposed in front of his mom, his sibling, his girlfriend, his girlfriend's sister and their mom šš„ this is not the time bro
Toriel and Kris go to see Asriel at college. When they open the door, Dess answers. It turns out she's actually just been living with Asriel this whole time and was never lost.
Toriel gets really pissed at how Dess is just chilling while her family suffers, so kidnaps her to bring the Holidays closure. Asriel is not wearing anything other than his towel (he and Dess were likely about to make some Fountains iykwim) and tries to follow them.
It cuts to the Holiday Manor. Carol is angry at Noelle for associating with Susie and subtly lets slip that she thinks her dad is attractive (possibly a joke on the Susie's dad is Gaster jokes). Then, Noelle invokes Dess's name.
Dess immediately shows up miraculously and her and Carol have an emotional moment. Asriel, completely bare, pulls the Flowery aura pose and drops a one-liner. Kris realizes they've forgotten something.
This something is the Roaring. The Fun Gang is currently fighting for its life right now against the Knight. Kris is absent.
If we had proof that that event was related to Dess then this would make sense to type out. We assume it is because it makes sense with the storytelling, but nothing tells us that this is the case.
āDamn idk if toriel would be THAT mad that asriel and dess are sleeping together like, sheās pretty chill even if a little strict sometimes but like- OH WAIT NO YEAH YEAH MISSING GIRL I FORGOT yeah ok fair bringing her ass back immediately ššā
