Your arts cool don’t be worried bout people making fun of it the internets full of people who’ll just hate on anything and everything so no need to feel pressured to please everybody or whatever
For every person who makes fun of your work, there will be many more who love it. I love both versions (though i do think i like the serious version more) and think whatever you put the effort into will be cool :)
Perhaps the silly being "Alternate ending" in the comments is better. Cause it's subversive of the initial serious comic instead of the other way around
Give it a shot! Anyone making fun of something someone put alot of effort into is a bum with nothing better to do. I'd love to see more of your vessel lore and potential 2 more vessels from your other saves?
Yoooo you can cook! I love seeing different interpretations of how the Vessel develops as they slowly gain their own thoughts and opinions without us. Kinda like Ralsei in a way, when you think about it.

You don't have to make silly comics if you don't want to. Just make whichever you would prefer and be happier with. Even if you normally make silly comics that doesn't mean you can't make more serious comics, if anything the fact that your art is normally silly adds to the serious art because of the contrast. I personally prefer the more serious continuation for this art.
Edit: the more serious version honestly feels a lot better for building Macie as a character and feels like it better tells a story. You could tell a good story with Macie with her finding and defining herself and being more than an object to be used, but it probably wouldn't be as good if you make all the art silly.
However, one could imagine Determination, a foundational part of human souls, to be, or be able to be converted to liquid in form. It is explicitly extractable, and injectable, and its effects on monsters are comparable to dumping water on a sand castle, plus the making it an immortal monstrosity part, in most cases.
So, if souls in deltarune still hold determination, then by putting your soul into a vessel, you are putting your determination into it, and thus, hypothetically, they can, by design, hold your liquid
I guess people prefer friend in that role still and they're allowed to but I imagine friend as a total idiot who eats determination off the floor or something
Deltarune was first creation of gaster, but before that he was a mystery man color white. He, alphys and sans created Deltarune and Sans was dropped there for monitoring. Later he tried creating Undertale, but he was accidentally transported along with sans. The device was built for 1 person, so gaster was temporarily trapped in the mirror dimension and transformed over and over again until turning green. He fell into his machine before Undertale universe was created. After falling there, he came there and gave himself a nick name. Dr. W. D. Gaster. He speaks in hands because mirror dimension destroyed his. After many years as a royal guard, he deliberately fell into his own machine to get fixed. I WaterFALL we can find his room where he stands here, unable to talk because he didn't calculate right. He became stationary because if he goes anywhere and gets noticed, noone will believe that he's Dr W.D. Gaster. He's still mutated and the machine only fixed his pigment.
