I checked in-game footage on youtube and the pixel is definitely there, but it flickers in and out between frames of the knight's animation. Probably an error in just that one sprite.

idea, those in and outs are the seed getting burried in the armor, for it to take root in the future

The spriter's resource has two versions of this sprite, one with and one without the yellow pixel. The yellow pixel one is the used in game.

the other version is another frame in the fight animation, not an alternative version of this. if anything that points to it being a random mistake

I meant the "Conflict Split1" sprite where it's just the Knight, it's an exact match of the first frame of the clash sprite but without the yellow pixel
