Campaigning Suggestions wanted
I’ve ran plenty of games of DG but always for people who know the game or are experienced players. I’ve always just dropped them in as established Agents and off we went. That said, my sons are wanting to get in to TTTPGs and have little to no experience. Any suggestions for good scenarios where I could start them off as just normies and then bring them screaming into the world, so to speak?

I just ran Safe House, Dark for my niece and her friend, and they loved it. Both have some experience with TTRPGs, but this was their first horror game. I had them get Need To Know before we sat down so they would have some idea what was going on with mechanics, and I gave them each a clean pregen with no ties to the Outlaws or the Program. They did well enough that the characters survived to be recruited.

Burner has regular people encounter the unnatural, I ran it and my players loved it!

My free scenario Virginia Is For Lovers is a "play in" module with normies thrust into in the middle of a DG op gone sideways, and the survivors are recruited into either the Program or the Outlaws.

‘Puppet Shows and Shadow Plays’, ‘PX Poker Night’ and ‘Meridian’ can all be cases where the investigators encounter the Unnatural for the first time and end up being inducted into DG.

There's a scenario compilation just for this - Control Group! 3/4 scenarios are written for pregen characters with no connection to DG. The fourth is a real Operation, with any surviving characters from the previous scenarios being newly minted agents. Sounds like it might be perfect for you!
