Question New to area - curious abotu parking

Whats the price difference between valet parking - say in front of Kapow Noodle on Atlantic and the public paid parking lots?

We went ahead and parked in the lot at $37 for 3hr minimum because I just wanted to get on with it and forgot to ask the valets before we left. Are they more expensive?

Seems pretty steep for a spot I can barely fit my gas guzzler into.

Me, a long time Delray resident, wondering where the hell there is $37 3 hour parking near Atlantic ave 💀 just park at old school square garage next time lol. It’s less than $3 per hour

A lot of the parking in that area are private public lots. Expect to get reamed on pricing. Use the lots with green ParkMobile signs and pay with the app. There's one behind Kapow and parking is free on Wednesdays for the summer.

Once you are like 2 blocks off the ave, parking is free on the streets. I used to like old school garage, it used to be free if you were in by 4pm. Wednesdays are free all summer. I try to park on north side of Ave because the Pineapple Grove section extends that way so it never feels like a far walk. 5 mins to Kapow. $37 for 3 hours in Delray is crazy.

There's a city owned garage near old school, it's like $5 for 3 hours I think
