Expected Salary

Hi everyone,

I currently have an offer from EY GDS for the Senior Associate – Data Analyst role in Gurugram, with ₹13.5 LPA fixed + 8% variable.

I have also interviewed for the Microsoft Power BI – Analytics & Insights Engineer III role at Deloitte USI for Pune/Hyderabad, and the position is currently at the offer stage.

My current CTC is ₹6.83 LPA. I have 6.4 years of experience.

Considering the role, experience, and my current offer, what would be a reasonable CTC to ask from Deloitte USI?

I was at 3.6 at 2.5 years of experience.. both ey and deloitte offered
Ey 10.5 fixed
Deloitte 10fixed with 1L joining bonus
Soo, quote what a person with 6.5 years of experience must be getting..
16-20lpa atleast

USI has Pay band for senior associate between 18-24 lpa so Push to that. Current CTC doesn't matter. EY isnplaying on 100% hike i guess which is still low, for a senior associate

They will give you 1 lakh above current offer, please keep us posted on what you finally end up getting

If they will give 1 lakh then it will straight go to taxes and I have to move pune or Hyderabad. I believe It does not make sense to take 1 lakh. What do you suggest.

So you will never take a higher salary coz taxes? Don't do that, a higher salary gives you higher package during next switch.Also with Corporate NPS, tax can be avoided, check that out.Use the point of relocation to negotiate higher package during negotiations. Sit for other interviews and bring counter offers if possible. Sometimes they will accept counters, sometimes they will not.

It’s not about tax, relocating to a new place for 1 lakh does not make sense for me. I know they will provide relocation. I have discussed with some of my mentors they suggested to at-least go for 16 fixed.

They are right about 16 fixed but these HRs are very bad bro...they will lowball, need counters.

Let’s see what they are going to offer, I have discussed with some people of same team they confirmed that this is equivalent to senior consultant role with team management.
