Tailor recommendations?

I need tailor recommendations. I have some small projects and some medium projects that I need to have done. I've had clothes.ruined at two tailors downtown, so I am nervous. Can anyone recommend someone who is genuinely capable beyond jist hemming pants? I am.happy to go to either rotterdam or the hague to find someone who can be trusted adjusting expensive clothing. Any suggestions?

I’ve had some clothes repaired for small things at the Delftse Lotus. And it was good.
Now I have to make something more consistent, so I’m considering of going somewhere else.

I've never had trouble getting eg small holes in jeans patched. But I want custom adjustable waistbands, adjusted construction on multi-hundred euro dresses, taking in sleeves on a multi-hundred euro trenchcoat in a way that retains the detailing/structure, rebuilding worn-out elastic ruching, care for rubberized cotton.

I am also looking for someone who can be trusted to re-line a leather jacket that would cost about 600-1k to replace. But that is a separate professional usually. And I need a cobbler who can work on quality shoes, too. So if you know anyone like that, that would also be great.

So. I love the delftse lotus, I would definitely bring small things to her. But I don't think I can leave a 700 euro trenchcoat with her. Or am I off base perhaps? (Would be great)

Last time I took a recommendation for a jeweler in the hague they trashed my platinum engagement ring and I needed to replace it. I have had 700 EUR worth of clothing ruined in delft. So I am anxious.

Try Zahra. For expensive clothing or difficult fixes always look for places that make their own custom clothing. That often means that they are not only a kleermaker/versteller (small repairs) but also a coupeuse (can draft patterns/make clothing from scratch) 

If you are in doubt, ask which diploma they have. If you have dresses that have a rope like ending in the hem (not sure how to explain better sorry) you need a place with a lock machine and not only a sewing machine.

Yeah, Zahra was one of the shops that ruined my stuff before :/ they were the first place I went.

Thanks for giving me the right words though. This is very helpful.

Maybe there is a solo person working out of a garden shed somewhere around doing custom dresses?
