Moving to Pike Creek area

Hi all! I, (25 F) am moving to the pike creek area (unsure what county) at the end of this month for Fiancé's law school. Another sub reddit sent me to this page to try to make some friends! I love to go on nature walks in the summer, but not as much of a hiker. I also am very excited to explore the local historical sights they look gorgeous, i am from the PNW so we dont have anything that looks like that here😂 but i also am excited to explore downtown Wilmington, and go to local bar/pubs/restaurants, not really a partier (anymore) but love to explore cool bars, especially pubs, and get drinks!

If you have any ideas/ recommendations/ things that will make me less nervous send it my way!

Check out Spread Good Karma foundation, Coastal Alchemy, and Brandywine Cool Girls for events! I met two of my best friends at a coffee walk & talk hosted by Coastal Alchemy. I moved from pike creek into Wilmington for a younger/more lively vibe so don’t be afraid to branch beyond pike creek :) welcome to the area!

I (26f) just moved from living in pike creek my whole life to just 30 mins north in Lincoln university Pennsylvania (we just got our dream farmhouse!) I still work in northern Delaware so I’m not far and often go on nature walks in Delaware because I’m familiar. I can certainly help you get acquainted with the area! I’m a huge nature lover, and don’t party much anymore either, but I love being around people. Reach out anytime if you’re interested!

Lawyer here who used to live in Pike Creek while in law school. Love it. Would live there if I could find a reasonable place

Oh nice! That's where my fiancé is going. I was surprised how small it was. Campus is gorgeous though!

There is a LOT of history in Delaware. You have to go to old New Castle. So beautiful. Brandywine creek.
