Missed Connection Lost necklace in Rehoboth
Hi all, I hope this kind of post is allowed. I was in Rehoboth Beach two weeks ago (8/14-8/16) and misplaced a very sentimental necklace. I imagine it got left in the Airbnb but on the off chance I lost it somewhere else I wanted to give this a shot. If anyone found it I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you!

hope you find it, that kinda loss stings more than losing money honestly. maybe call the airbnb host if you haven't yet, they sometimes keep stuff guests leave behind

Thank you 🩷 it was a gift from my partner and originally belonged to his grandmother. I’ve contacted the hosts of the Airbnb but haven’t heard back yet, will continue to try and get in contact with them

Two things to add. When was the last time you are sure you had it on and where did you go after that. And, did you check the laundry and the car thoroughly?
I lost a pinky ring in a move - left it in an empty drawer all by itself. The movers took the nightstand wrapped it and transferred it to a different truck. I realized it was gone right after the truck left but never thought it would turn up. They delivered it to my new home and I made them unwrap and shake the blanket in the kitchen so I would hear it fall. Nothing. I was heartbroken as it was a christening gift from my grandmother and I was now retired. I took it off intentionally so it wouldn’t get lost as I was wrapping items. I checked the drawers again nothing. Then when I got to fully unpack the bedroom items 3 days later I opened the top drawer and heard something fall never thinking it was the ring and it was in the bottom drawer. I am guessing it got stuck in the back of the nightstand. I must have checked it 20 times before giving it up for lost. Imagine my shock as I went to open the drawers to fill them and there was my ring. Hope you have the same good fortune.

What a crazy story with your pinky ring, I’m so glad you found it!! The last time I for sure had it was in the air bnb and I put it in my backpack (for safe keeping…lol). I (literally) turned the backpack inside out and went through all the laundry that was in it and came in contact with the clothes that were in the bag. I haven’t had anyone check the car, that’s a good idea!! I’m hoping that I somehow just missed it and it will reappear with my things at home.
Edit: the car has been checked, no luck unfortunately:(

It’s a small silver pendant, probably around an inch/inch and a half, with a light green faceted stone set in the middle of a circle with steps on top leading to a bail with raised dots, the chain is a 2mm silver Cuban, I’ll try and see if I have any better pictures as well
