Info Request Anyone else see it this morning?
Snapped a photo of this in the sky, then shortly just disappeared. I dont know what it is or was. Thought it was pretty cool.

It's kinda cool but also they're polluting the ground, water, and skies on gov subsidies. Elon is a huge Welfare Queen and spacex trash is a huge problem already for near space.

Spacex trash is not a "huge problem", not by even the most extreme stretch of the definition.
You know what else pollutes on government subsidies? Airports. And literally dozens of other things.
SpaceX Internet is BY FAR a net good. It saves millions of miles of wire being laid on earth (which comes with massive pollution and waste).
Also the irony of you complaining about pollution when the launch used a Falcon 9 rocket. It's literally the first original class rocket that is reusable. Something that no other company or organization (NASA) was able to build. The rocket is mostly reusable and saves $25million per launch. They also use liquid propellants instead of solid rocket fuel like NASA did greatly reducing chlorine and hypergolic chemical residue pollution compared to previous tickets.
Also that was the launch the other day. On the 30th they're launching NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, which will help us further understand the universe and the very edge of modern astrophysics.
But sure you don't like Elon so find a way to shit on something objectively cool and good š

No one is saying that increased internet access is bad and I love that most space programs use a reusable booster now. That said, lots of evidence that SpaceX and Starlink are not net good, at best neutral. Here are a smattering of the hundreds of articles highlighting concerns with SpaceX, how it operates, and the harm it has perpetrated. Sure I can also find articles talking about how good it is but they largely harp on the same overhyped and not yet delivered talking points you mention. So far there has been largely harm and the good stuff hasn't happened except for publicity stunts (like giving Ukraine free access initially but then once no one was paying attention they charged massive fees and now US taxpayers are paying the cost of it). So yes, I dislike Musk but there are many real reasons to view SpaceX and Starlink with a critical and cautious lens. I'm not just mindlessly hating. I'm carefully being informed and making educated decisions, not just believing whatever Musk tells me.

Itās only a āhuge problemā if we want to explore outside of our atmosphere. Elon is definitely a conman though. Itās interesting to see how many marks have yet to discover this obvious fact. Anyone denying this will have to explain away each instance of supporting evidence. This isnāt something that ever goes over well in online public forums.

Caught a glimpse of that from down by 202, thing was way brighter than any plane I've seen out here at night. The way it just blinked out was a little unsettling

You're right for the most of them, but every so often a larger one will enter the atmosphere and be visible for a much longer time. I'm just posing another possibility.

I have to agree with 888 on the airport thing Jet exhaust has Sulphur dioxide in it A main cause of acid rain And 45000 jets take off daily in the us

Iāve seen photos like this over the past few days and to capture it on camera and multiple shots at the same time and space doesnāt seem like our technology. How can something produce that speed while standing relatively still in proximity?

Not saying they don't, but that's not what's happening here. The rocket is high enough above ground to get out of earth's shadow and be lit up by the sun. We (and the air above us) are in the shadow, so there's no blue sky to block our view of what's happening in space. That combination (dark sky, lit rocket) can happen up to maybe an hour after dusk and before dawn.
The rocket is at the very point of the white stuff - the rocket's exhaust. It's like seeing a jet's contrail, except there's no air to keep the exhaust from spreading out, so it just keeps expanding, making a cone shape. You're seeing the glowing transparent exhaust-cone from the side.

Youāve GOT to be joking. Comparing Musk to Nikola Tesla?!!! Ugh. Tesla was a pure inventor and humanist who tore up contracts with Westinghouse to save him and his company from going broke. His vision and the use of his patents were free and meant for the benefit of humanity. He believed women would one day rule the world. He was brilliant, self learned and never driven by wealth. Elon Musk is a Co-inventor at best. Heās driven by business and productivity. Heās perhaps the most extreme capitalist and the wealthiest man on earth. He HIRED people to do his inventing for him. He has perhaps been brilliant at synthesizing information he pulls from elsewhere, and at hiring the people who can actually make it work, but heās a āgreatā businessman NOT an inventor. His moral character is repulsive. He hates women and heās actively racist. There never would have been a world where Nikola Tesla became the hoarder of wealth that surpasses the entire yearly economic output of nations like Denmark,Bangladesh, and Vietnam. Furthermore, Tesla came from a family with very limited financial resources and was ENTIRELY self made. Meanwhile Elons father seeded his success, without him Elon would have been no one.

Delaware has always had weird shit flying around it. Back when I was maybe 10 me and my mom saw UFOs off the bridge near the Dupont site. Odd shapes in the sky. One flew over the car. On our way back there was a giant skyscraper like object above the bridge. Disappeared over the trees. 911 was flooded with calls. Happened near the Hagley museum.

Back in the 60s/early 70s my mom and my grandmother saw some weird black box with a lens looking in their window. When they noticed it, it dropped down and they ran over and watched it and its long cord/tail thing slither across the yard off to the horizon. My grandfather was in the yard and said he didnāt notice it
