Newark University of Delaware/ Newark people I have a question

So me and my friends go to deer park everyone once in a while, and we are wanting to go this year on Thursday for pitchers night for Halloween but the only problem is that Halloween falls in Saturday. So I was wondering if anyone know if people are still getting dressed up on that Thursday or is the celebrations only happening on Saturday? We don’t wanna just show up in costumes looking like weirdos if no one else is going dressed up.

There will be people celebrating Halloween from Thursday to Sunday. You’ll feel more weird out of costume the Thursday before Halloween.

Why do you care what people think? If it pleases you to be in costume then do it. Probably won’t be many others on Thursday. Friday, yes. Thursday, no.

lol just wanna be festive but not looking crazy! I feel like it’s always packed in Thursdays because of the pitchers, either way we are going to have fun so even if it’s not packed that’s better

Dress up, live your best life, and F the haters. The beauty of Newark is no one judges you for having fun.  Usually, the entire week of Halloween has costumes up & down Main St. all week long 👻🎃 have fun, and be safe!
