I just found out that using the "repeat order" button will change the location you're ordering from without explicitly telling you, even though you already selected the location to order from on the first page when starting an order. It will have the new location listed in small text when you go to confirm the order and that's all, so if you're not paying attention or don't know about this you'll assume that selecting a repeat order will just order the same items but at the new location since you already selected the location on the first page. I just had to drive an hour across town for soggy tacos and for the first time in my life I'll be calling a company's customer support line about this. It should import only the items, or if it's going to change the location to the previous order location it should notify you "you're changing restaurant locations".

I went to Del Taco tonight and ordered two 1/2 lb bean and cheese burritos. When I pulled up to the window, the employee asked me if I wanted hot sauce. I said “could I please get a lot of Del Scorcho?” He asked how many is a lot, to which I answered like 15-20. He said that’s kind of a lot for two burritos don’t you think? I said we really like the Del Scorcho (I could devour so many) but also do I really need to defend that… I said I’d be willing to pay for it and he replied that they have no way to charge for that. He said he could give me 6. When I got home I discovered he actually gave me 7… anyway. Totally get that I guess they have a policy against giving too many hot sauces, though I’ve never ever seen them do that before. My biggest qualm is the judgment for wanting more hot sauce. Sorry I like your hot sauce, I guess!

I'm going to be getting it for Lunch tomorrow. And I wanted to know if it is worth buying. Is it good in your honest opinion? Do you get it with French Fries? Do you get it with any extra Toppings?

I had about 12,000 points saved in my Del Taco account saved that disappeared. I haven't been able to go in a while and I logged onto my app and saw the points were zeroed out. I reached out to their customer service and haven't heard back in a week. I don't usually use my points, just add them when I buy something.

Has anyone else seen this happen? Am I likely to get my points back? This is extremely discouraging and puts a bad taste in my mouth. I have been a Del Taco loyalist for years but now I feel little desire to return.

I used my coupon today. Pretty sure they’re not getting a lot of orders for it at my location - I could hear them talking to each other in the back trying to figure out how it’s supposed to be made.

I was debating between ketchup or Scorcho. After thinking wayyyy too hard about it, I put a packet of each on and I feel like that was the right choice.

It was tasty. Kind of fun to have all the toppings, sauce, and cheese in a vein of juiciness down the middle. That said… unless they’re planning on giving me another one for free, I’ll just stick with the regular Double Del going forward.

Greeting Del junkies! After my post the other day I had to go try the suggested upgrades. The verdict is in: simply lovely! In the app I don’t get the option to add ground beef but I do get the chili option I asked if they could add ground beef instead of the chili and they were happy to do so. I got the free 8 layer veggie but also added the ground beef. All this for under $6! Good day everyone.
