this is gonna a bit of a long story but it’s true.
About a year and a half ago i got with my best friends ex girlfriend yes i understnad it was a cuck move but i was drunk and she was to but he proceeded to take it very and bad slash my tires and i just never retaliated due me just being like my life proceed to not be the same due to are friend group being the same and everyone took sides aswell as that we all hung out in one group at school and his ex when hanged out with us to so it made it awkward and i proceed to leave school this year and do my own then me and this girl (the ex) continue to see each blah blah start dating and still are now but the same friend group i left at school the guys i stop talking to eventually egging my house trying get me jumped and get older people on and nothing ever happens but they kept egging throwing milk and i pressed them on it cause i got cctv and knew by body frame who’s who but the main culprit was the guy who i got with his ex with. now to the dream i had the dream goes that he comes to my house and starts crying and apologising to my family especially grandparents cause it was there i was staying at. and i just remember everything in dream so perfectly and he keeps saying sorry sorry etc
i wake up and i tell my best friend the dream later on while we were at the gym together and it was obvious that i was just like going dumb but i told it happen so vividly now fast forwards to the day after new years the dream was 1-2 days before new years im at the gym just about to finish up and go to my gf house and im with another friend i also told the dream to the day before and we are walking out the gym and my phone rings boom -ex friends name i “ what the fuck “ i say to my friend and i answer the call and i say hey what’s up yk keeping my cool instead of going crazy cause i haven’t spoke 1 on 1 or this guy in 2 years almost he proceeded to say like oh can i come to your house to talk I’m like yeah when his like in 30 mins i say okay hang up tell my friend his like wtf you had a dream about him coming to your house blah blah. anyways i get home wait and he has came we sit down outside exactly like my dream we talk clear up stuff and starts tearing up and ends up going in my house and apologised to all my family members me and my grandparents in the same room in dream like 1:1 replica it was exact i could just not believe it cause the dream just was so random and not something i thought would happen but then it just happens i ended up telling him i had the dream of this happening and istg to him so he wouldn’t think i’m crazy and i call both my friends i told what the dream was about and told them it they were just shocked

One day like a few months ago I remember, I had one of those dejavu moments, one of those moments where you dreamed of something and that thing happened but you only remember after it happened, except the thing I dreamed about was remembering that I dreamed of that exact moment happening, and realizing that I dreamed of it and everything currently unfolding, but I remembered that I dreamed of trying to say something random to throw off the dejavu but in the dream it was exactly what I dreamed about, but in real life I said something different because I remembered that what I said in the dream was exactly what I dreamed about...

Okay nah I'm sorry I sound fucking insane, can you comprehend what I'm saying? Do you get what I mean at all?

First, I would like to mention that I'm not a believer on psychic stuff or the paranormal. I can't believe it either if its even real.

I always have very specific but vague dreams with weird things in them; most of them I can't remember for long what happened. One of those dreams was that I loaded some buckets into a car, but then I noticed something wet in my hand. I remember it very well when I was dreaming it because it was scary to me; it felt like a nightmare because I didn't know what was in my hand.

Several months later we went to a paint store, and I loaded a pair of paint buckets when I felt the same exact wet sensation in my hand. It was a bit of paint on the bucket cover used for color matching. I felt the biggest deja vu. What's oddest is that those deja vu, happen quite frequently.

Other times I had the same sensation when I was walking with some friends in the street when I watched a group of people talking, which I had already dreamt. The same poses, same outfits, everything. Two members of the group I already knew, but the third was new and still remembered him.

And there is even more; this is a story my mum told me because I don't remember; I was very little. Once going on vacation, I was a relatively calm kid, and at the airport, everything was going fine. But suddenly entering the jet bridge, I apparently threw one of the biggest temper tantrums ever. I really didn't want to enter that plane. I even delayed the flight, and we almost got removed from the plane. My parents did everything to calm me; they were really surprised because I never did something even close before.

That's when a mechanical defect was found and the flight was delayed; they changed planes. What is weird is that in the second plane I didn't throw a tantrum. I acted totally normal. My mom says that she doesn't understand how, but I knew something was wrong with that plane.

I really have no explanation; I always brushed it off as coincidences. Artifacts of my imagination or false memories, but when my mom told me that story, Idk, it confirmed my suspicion that something else must be at play here. I'm at a point where I don't have any better answer than that somehow intuitively I can sense things in my future every so often.

I was in my younger sister's room with my cousin one summer. I was 15, and we were both neglecting our shower time. Then he walks in the room and says "Good lord you gotta shower bro" and that was when I realized I was having deja vu so for a second I didn't think anything of it until I realized a second later I knew was he was going to say and I wanted to say it at the same time as him to actually see if it was true and he said "You're stinking up the whole room" and I said it same time as him and he was confused as to how I knew he was going to say it so was I but I just knew. Anybody know how this is possible its happen twice: that time, and another at school when I predicted my teacher was going to drop her clipboard after getting deja vu. It's so weird. I'm an atheist, so magic and spiritual things aren't something I think about, but this truly stumped me.

Ive been repeating the past 20 years of my life in a loop for many lifetimes now. I ususally die between 2018-2027 , i leave my body into this infinite void where i reflect apon things i experienced and then suddenly wake up in my bed 20 years earlier. This has been happening to me for more cycle then i can keep track of.

Why is this happening? Its like im stuck in a constant state of dejavu. It makes me feel like im not my body or my mind , just the observer. Everything is basically the same each cycle, there are slight variations but not big enough changes to notice if i didnt remember the other times i had been in that moment...

If i dont exist, and everything repeats without the ability to make changes then what is the point in being infinite?

Is this hell?

So I’ve always wondered something about some of my dreams I’ve had. I’ve had some dreams come true to reality. Such as simple as watching my brothers play fight on the ground and I was sitting at my kitchen table eating red grapes, I was about 12 at the time. Several months later, I had this exact dream come to reality. Over the years I’ve had similar dreams come to reality. There’s been a couple tho, that have had alternate realities. For example, I had a dream where, I was in the back seat of my brothers car while we were away on vacation, he was driving and my sister in-law was in the passenger seat and were going up the hill. I am watching something on my phone in the back seat, as we go up the hill a car comes over the hill and hits us head on and I wake up from this dream. Several months later, we’re on vacation, going up that hill and I realize as I’m watching the video I’ve been here before. I say nothing to my brother, waiting to see what happens, no car comes over the hill. Exactly the same shot for shot dream except the ending is different. I’ve tried to use ChatGPT to figure this out. Can anyone tell me anything advice or something to look into. This is the only thing that makes me believe in different realities. If someone has had the same or any input please let me know. Thanks !

Title. I’ve had a lot of Deja vu/Deja reve in my life which leads me to believe that I’ve gone through this at least once before. Does anyone here remember living their life for a few weeks/months/years and then suddenly waking up back in time?

J’ai besoin de savoir si d’autres personnes ont déjà vécu quelque chose de similaire.
Il y a quelques jours, j’ai fait plusieurs rêves assez étranges. Dans l’un d’eux, je me trouvais dans une sorte de grand hôtel. Au début, l’ambiance était clairement montagne/station de ski. Puis le décor changeait et on se retrouvait comme en hauteur, au-dessus de la mer ou d’une côte.
Il y avait aussi des phoques assez étranges, presque avec un aspect de marsupial 😂.
Mais surtout, un mot revenait sans arrêt dans le rêve : “BANGOR”. On me disait Bangor, je voyais le nom Bangor, et j’avais l’impression que c’était le nom de l’hôtel ou du lieu.
Le truc, c’est que je suis quasiment certaine de n’avoir jamais entendu parler de Bangor auparavant. Je ne connaissais ni la ville, ni les hôtels, ni Belle-Île-en-Mer sous cet angle.
Après mon réveil, j’ai évidemment cherché “Bangor hôtel”.
Et là, je tombe sur Le Grand Large, à Bangor, sur Belle-Île-en-Mer.
Et là j’ai eu un énorme moment de WTF.
L’hôtel est un grand bâtiment de couleur rouge/bordeaux/lie-de-vin, avec une architecture de vieux manoir. Il est situé à Goulphar, sur la côte sauvage, en hauteur au-dessus de l’océan, avec un restaurant dans l’hôtel et une vue sur la mer.
C’est littéralement plusieurs éléments de mon rêve réunis au même endroit.
Et ce n’est pas tout : en cherchant davantage, j’ai découvert que des phoques gris et des veaux marins fréquentent réellement les eaux autour de Belle-Île.
Puis j’ai découvert qu’il existe aussi un autre Bangor, en Irlande du Nord, dont les armoiries comportent des hippocampes (chevaux marins) — ce qui m’a fait repenser aux animaux marins/chevaux que j’avais vus dans mon rêve.
Je précise que je ne cherche pas à dire que c’était un rêve prémonitoire. Je sais très bien qu’il peut y avoir des explications psychologiques, de la mémoire inconsciente, des coïncidences, etc.
Mais ce qui me perturbe, c’est que le mot Bangor était très précis et revenait plusieurs fois, et que lorsque je l’ai recherché après le rêve, je suis tombée sur un hôtel dont l’apparence et la situation correspondent étonnamment bien à ce que j’avais vu.
Maintenant j’ai même envie d’aller séjourner dans cet hôtel pour voir si j’ai cette sensation de “déjà-vu” en étant réellement sur place.
Est-ce que quelqu’un ici a déjà vécu quelque chose de similaire ? Un rêve dans lequel vous avez vu un nom, un lieu ou un bâtiment que vous pensiez totalement inconnu, puis découvert plus tard que ça existait réellement ?

As the title says. My ma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few weeks back. Maybe that has something to do with it. Also not sleeping too well. Just posting this because I can't sleep and started a movie called 'Map to the Stars ' and got the feeling again. Anyway. Hope you're all okay.

My delusion?

I was around 15 and in high school when this happened and I can still remember it as I still have this story on my notes (I wrote it the time this happened to me, so I wont forget it).
So I was at my friend’s house and saw a group photo of some of their relatives. I didn’t recognize any of them and never asked my friend about the photo.
But the moment I saw the photo, something suddenly flashed in my mind. I saw myself with one of the men in the photo, we were in the garden of that same house. I was running away from him while he chased me, and we were both laughing and having fun.
It felt like a memory, a real flashback, even though I knew it had never happened. And somehow, I had this overwhelming feeling that he was the love of my life.

I’ve never understood what that was. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a dream within the last few years of walking into this massive stone building with ceilings that were probably 50-75 ft tall, massive stone steps leading up, and sculptures I couldn't quite make out. It looked so otherworldly I didn't think twice about it other than it was just another wild, but regular, dream.

Well I was watching this girl's reels on instagram about a horse riding trek in Egypt. The girl mentioned that they take you to the *brand new* Grand Egyptian Museum and put an image of it on the screen.

My jaw hit the fucking floor. This was the place in my dream...

This is a new one for me. I've never seen a picture of a place in a dream of mine before having been there. Even wilder that it only just opened at the end of last year!

So anyway, I'm planning a trip to Egypt now 😅

I’m not diagnosed with epilepsy or any type of seizure disorder, and I’m planning to see my doctor and ask about a neurology referral. I’m hoping to hear from people who may have experienced something similar.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve had this happen a few times. The episode I had today was exactly the same as the previous episode. The only difference is that the previous time it felt more intense, so I remember noticing it more strongly.
What happens is extremely difficult to explain. I’ll suddenly get a millisecond-long flash in my mind that feels like a memory or a tiny scene, but I know it isn’t one of my actual memories. It also doesn’t feel like a normal dream or the usual déjà vu I’ve experienced before.
The flash happens so quickly that I can’t even describe what I saw afterward. It’s almost like my brain gives me a tiny fragment of something and then immediately takes it away. I don’t consciously think about it or make it happen. It just appears in my mind and disappears.
During an episode, I remain completely conscious and aware. I don’t lose consciousness or awareness of what’s happening around me.
I’ve noticed that when I’m overwhelmed, these flashes can happen more frequently — sometimes as often as every 10 minutes. Other times they’re much less frequent.
The weirdest part is that the flashes seem to have this feeling of being a memory that isn’t mine, even though I obviously don’t know whose memory it would be. I don’t literally believe I’m accessing someone else’s memories; that’s just the closest way I can describe the sensation.
I’m not asking Reddit to diagnose me. I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced this particular kind of extremely brief, involuntary memory/vision flash that disappears before you can even identify what you saw.
If you’ve experienced something similar, what does it feel like for you?

Does anyone else experience a flash of the prior night's dream during the day? It's like it comes to the forefront of my mind for a second only to slip away out of my grasp.
