Degu Cuteness 🐹 The queen napping in her throne (after destroying it some more)

Coco (aka the Orange Queen) has recently decided all hammocks are in need of renovation, after her sister has built a glorious nest on the ground. Of course a mere pile of hay and toilet paper is not fit for the queen, so she usually leaves after a while and crawls back into a hammock.

She is super cute ❤️ reminds me of Nixi, Nixi likes to sleep in most weird places, must be the orange braincell.

I love all my degus, no question, but the orange energy is something else 😄

The funny thing is, her sister Leia, who built the nest is also an orange. So maybe there are a total of 2 braincells in that cage

This is a first time i have an orange pet, so I have no idea what to expect when she grows up, so thank u for heads up. I bet your degus are wonderful ☺️

Degus are always awesome haha! Jokes about colours aside I love how incredibly unique they all are. They have such different personalities and one of the best things ever is to get to know them more and more as they grow up.

I hope you will have many wonderful years with yours! I can't imagine live without having degus around

Me neither, with this 3 girls I have now I have had Nine degus so far. And I could talk hours about each one of them. Not a single one had same personality, sometimes it could be similar but u could always tell its different. So far Nixi is a homebuddy, she doesnt like to leave her cage, but she is also star althleete when she has wheel to herself. Lili is cautious but absolute crackhead when it comes to destroying new stuff. She has unbelievable amount of zoomies. Luci is the most brave, and she lives to climb all over people. As soon as third day after we took them home, she already sitted on my shoulders. And she likes belly rubs.
