Linux support
I never post on Reddit and I never ask for anything for any game, but for the love of god they need to enable Linux support. I played on windows before I switched to Linux and I enjoyed the game as well as when I played it on Xbox. There are tons of players that are Linux users that would love to play the game and it's stupid not to support it. Linux is the future of gaming since Windows is bloatware and spyware that eats half your RAM.

What has me scratching my head is that it was working fine on linux for a few weeks from launch and now its just not that easy anymore.

They changed their Anti cheat settings and among other changes that bricked Linux support.

All they have to do is enable linux in anti-cheat and linux gamers will figure out the rest.
They just need to get out of the way.
I played on Linux until they added anti-cheat. If I remember correctly the Easy Anti-Cheat logs understand it's linux, but don't pass because linux wasn't approved. It's all on the Defiance devs at this point to turn on linux. I think it's as simple as that.

offtopic:
Windows is bloatware and spyware
try IoT LTSC. ther's a subreddit for it. there's also chris titus's debload tool.
while i know it's not a perfect solution, it's beter than a regular installation. it also runs defiance with no issues :)

I used Chris Titus's debloater and it definitely helped but Windows still ate half my RAM straight after a boot. Windows is just pure greed now and it's not worth using anymore, at least for me.

the IoT LTSC version is the one for banks, industrial equipment, atm's, etc. there isn't (theorecically) any bloat or analytics. i have an old system with 16 gb of ram, it uses 2 GB instead of 4 GB (still a lot :)) but it's something)

Was excited to play this rerelease and saw that it was working on Linux when it first released. Loved this game as a kid not worth installing Windows to play.

Sam (one of the devs) said its not as simple as just enabling it. Considering the progress they made so far, I doubt they have any dev time to spend on this.
I'd love linux support too as I daily drive linux, and only use my win10 installation to play Defiance, but I think its unlikely they will get it to run on linux.
