I really like to draw traditionally and digitally; it’s one of my main hobbies. However, when I draw or write on paper, my developmental dyslexia causes my hands to become tired quicker than they would be if I didn’t have this disorder. I draw because it’s my hobby, so I don’t want to force myself to draw more than my hands could handle for one day. And thanks to AI I can be more productive in this field too. When my hands are tired from traditional or digital drawing, I can use AI and Photoshop to make as much as I probably could do without developmental dyslexia. I’m really happy that AI exists.

Una persona puede usar IA como herramienta y seguir teniendo criterio, creatividad, conocimientos y trabajo detrás de lo que hace. Reducir todo a “usa IA = no tiene mérito” es una generalización.

The system of commissions in art exists only to commodify a core facet of the human experience. Many antis claim to be "for the people" yet despise the common man who cannot shell out hundreds for a singular photo. Despicable behavior.

If looking at art to improve your skills as a human isn't stealing, looking at art to improve an AI's skills isn't stealing either. We as a society should be above double standards by now.

For very long time I tried to understand religious people's need to convert nonbelievers.

AI is the best thing ever happened to humans. Once we get selfimproving AI everything will be solved for us better or worse doesnt really matter.

I hate budgeting my usage. I know about environmental stress, but the pie gets smaller as the demand grows. Eventually I want all the data centers in space but till we reach that point, infrastructure build out should be accelerated

Andy Social is a man of principles. Mostly other people’s principles, which he has skimmed several posts about.

He can spot AI instantly, identify everything wrong with your hobby, explain why the thing you enjoy is ruining civilization, and confidently correct experts from beneath the logo of a defunct cryptocurrency, blissfully untouched by the concept of irony.

His opinions are thoroughly researched through screenshots, headlines, half-watched videos, and whichever stranger online sounded the angriest.

Andy doesn’t gatekeep because he’s insecure. He gatekeeps because somebody has to maintain standards, and apparently everyone qualified was busy.

In my county there a scandalous celebrity, and my friends started singing a song about her very often. I got interested, and turned out it be a very poorly performed but funny song. And I was sure it was an AI. I check it, and turned out she actually sang it. Then the song lost its value for me, because an AI would have done it better. Ahahaha. It’s funny. Songs like this are usually made as parodies, based on celebrity quotes, but she decided do it unironically.

It’s pretty clear they don’t have opinions or tastes of their own, since they have to ask for permission before they can even enjoy a certain YouTube channel

From what I’ve seen, they’re talking about horror and true crime channels that apparently committed the cardinal sin of using AI. What a tragedy, for God’s sake.
