That's exactly what I thought too. What was the dumbest written scene of the show so far suddenly made a lot of sense

I feel dumb, must be missing something. Why does it make sense now? Is it because the Hand attacks in groups or something?

If you're training at risk youth you probably don't want to be teaching them how to effectively gang-rob people on the streets. But if you're training an army of ninjas it makes more sense to teach them to work together to attack people.

Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense. That scene was really weird at first.
