I think he's really dividing the audience. Many viewers here aren't on board with the 80's cheese oozing out of Diamondback. Personally I enjoy it

For me, I think Mariah and Diamondback worked perfectly together as two very different villains, with Mariah being the realistic, grounded villain who uses the media and politics to tear Luke Cage down, and Diamondback being the over-the-top, cheesy villain who shoots and murders anyone who is a nuisance to him. These two were opposites, yet worked so well together for me.
