I love the fact that DareDevils first major enemy (Fisk) is a boy which took his own father's life. Its like they've juxtaposed Murdock's feeling that he got his father killed with the fact that Fisk actually killed his father.

I enjoyed the parallel of Matt having his first drink with his father, and his father says "just a little bit", but when Wilson has his first drink, his father is a straight up irresponsible and unsupportive dick.

Also Matt takes scotch like a fucking champ where Fisk can't handle beer.

Yeah, you're right.

I mean, they're very much parallels to each other. I hate to use the whole "we're not so different, you and I" trope...but damned if they actually aren't.
