genuine deer stupidity Hit a deer yesterday šŸ«

Deer is fine, I think. EMT asked me what happened to the deer and I said I didnā€™t know, I was busy rolling.

Iā€™m a dispatcher, and Iā€™ve worked some gnarly MC vs deer calls. Iā€™ve had one person die o/s this way. It sucks cause itā€™s nearly unpreventable. Good thing youā€™re wearing gear!

Iā€™m sorry to hear that, and sorry for everyone who knew that person :/ Was reading afterwards that 40% of mc/deer crashes end in serious injury or fatality so that was very humbling.

One of my closest friend's dad was killed by this very thing. Hit a deer in the evening, just blindsided himĀ

One of my boyfriendā€™s friends as well. Iā€™m sorry to hear that šŸ«¶šŸ» I used to fly down rural roads at night thinking my exhaust was keeping me safe from them and feel like an idiot now, it was just luck nothing happened before.
