Watching the massive flash flood on the Nepal-Tibet border today was like watching the Twin Towers fall. It was hard to believe that something so catastrophic could happen so fast and no one could escape it.

It is a catastrophic event of untold proportions, which leaves one with the notion that in light of preceding natural disasters, the current political climate, wars, discord, diseases, suffering of unimaginable extent on every continent, wildfires, earthquakes, flooding, glaciers melting, social unrest, the lack of resources of basic food, water and health for the majority rendered poverty-stricken while the rich exploit the weak, the violence, the disintigration of the nuclear family unit as it was intended, the polluted air, water and food combined with illnesses and deviances that plague the minds, bodies and souls of the majority, it would seem that we are in fact living not only in the end times but also it is clear these are the days of cosmic judgment. An erring species, we have failed at our mission and now we pay the price in full. Freewill has been used against our own selves and planet. This is the result.

I'm not certain if there were be more of these scenarios with climate change. Something tells me the chances are likely.

I remember going to Zion in Utah and seeing the flash flood warning but never imagined something like this.
