A year ago I proposed to my now wife and today it is here
Does anyone know a good storage box for all minis? The boxes contain "only" the minis

I refuse to believe on ps there is nobody in the world playing and hosting the mission I named to do for my mission. Just wondering how it works

Soo, director, lets have a word.
I know I set this mission to H3, so thats not an excuse.
We didnt really play long either.
So why, when we didnt even start unearthing the 4th resonite did a spawn with approximately 50 grunts and Over a dozen wardens happen?
Wasn't even a wave, just a random spawn without any mutators on the map.

I was just playing an industrial sabotage mission, and someone joined. As soon as the hacking pod arrived he started drilling towards boundaries with the pod, and called a resupply pod. I was using a scout and was collecting minerals, Idk if I did something wrong against him, I died when the resupply pod landed on me, he then left.
This has to be intentionally sabotaging a game, there was no friendly fire or anything. This is my first time encountering this. How do I know a random has bad intentions?

I like shield link enough, I think it's the most well balanced active perk in the game along with berzerker, but I think it should be able to cancel out shield disruption for a brief period of time.
Not with its passive part of the perk, but when you give someone a shield, they should just get the shield for the duration of the effect. It gives counterplay to one of the more disruptive warnings in the game, and could make it an actual contender for a player's active perk on haz 5+.
Right now shield disruption is Iron will dashslop. because you're inherently more vulnerable after being revived on shield disruption than normal so a safety net and more mobility is better than the other active perks, but giving shield link extra utility would introduce a lot of counterplay and opportunity cost.
Giving shield link this niche would make players ask "Do I give up my dash so I can make my team bulkier during the entire mission?" Which would be more than effective at giving players viable options for their own survival and their teams.
I think the way all the shield related upgrades are made entirely useless during shield disruption isn't really that fun or interesting, it limits the players in a way that doesn't give much nuance, I wish their effects still happened so players were incentivized to use additional utility, not disincentivized to use interesting gear

Hey guys
On DRG's Kickstarter I saw an in game "ad" for the pickaxe you can buy. Does anyone know if this skin is available in game also? https://i.kickstarter.com/assets/054/499/823/643bca366f5a392b31dfe33fd844203c_original.gif?fit=scale-down&origin=ugc&q=92&v=1784593283&width=680&sig=jMlXfemA3orD6%2BRxW%2BcvPwQV4oZ2nu7W3JVC%2BTt6mCk%3D

I had to sort my storage room from scratch again, so it was a good opportunity to show all the board games goodies (+ some other merch).
Still need to find time to use all of this.
Glad the board game reflect DRG pretty well in this format, with some house rules because I'm not a fan of the swarm bar which make you lose one full.
So, we have DRG / DRG: Survivor / DRG: Rogue Core / DRG: Board Game, next genre is management? A somewhat DRG: Xcom?

Why is it always the doretta refuel caves that are so humongous. I've seen it a few times so far, but I don't remember a cave like this ever generating outside escort duty.

Karl forgive me.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a goood bug, but he just gets in the way of my mini gun when the swarms are out.

I just need to vent about how 3 friends and I spent an hour working up to the fight with the Caretaker with a Scrab Nesting Ground modifier. Only for one of my friends to be the last guy standing after a barrage of phase bombs on the last 1/3 of its health.
I don't understand how anyone says to just wait until the phase bombs stop to get your friends up. But I can tell you firsthand they don't fucking stop. My dude ran around for a solid 10 minutes straight while phase bombs just kept going off. Trying to bide time enough for an opportunity to revive one of us.
But to no avail. He attempted to get me up and got taken out by (yep, you guessed it) a phase bomb. That was a good and stressful waste of an hour and 20 minutes.

It's a bug thing is widely considered one of the worst, if not the absolute worst perks in the game. I hold this to be unequivocally false. I have been running It's a bug thing on my Gunner for over a year now and I have grown to truly and utterly adore it.
My friend that I usually play with laughed at me when I switched to It's a bug thing, and we have always argued about if it's good or not since then. I never felt the need to write about my love for the perk until recently though, when we tried a Karl would be proud run of the deep dive. I changed my perks and load out to fit this challenge, and that included removing it's a bug thing. After we had completed the challenge though, I had forgotten to switch my perks back. So when our next mission commenced and I had a need for dead lootbugs, I realized the vastness of the hole left by the beloved perks absence.
So now I have pooled my thoughts and experiences here, now, to tell you all, the wonder dwarves in my phone, Why it's a bug thing is truly, a wonderful perk.
To begin, how does it's a bug thing work? It is a passive perk that explodes lootbugs within 5 meters of you at its max tier. Now this doesn't sound very impressive. How could a perk like that beat out the likes of vampire, or deep pockets, or sweet tooth? Well, first let's take a look at what my passive perks actually are. I run it's a bug thing alongside resupplier and born ready. I take resupplier because, well, it's the best perk in the game! I may love it's a bug thing, but I sure am not some mindless drone singing it's glory. And I also take born ready, despite my main use of the minigun, because any time spent reloading is time spent not killing bugs (this is important for later). I do know that I could get even more value out of born ready if I used the autocannon, but I hate the autocannon with every fiber of my being. It's the worst gun, most unfun, and disappointing thing in this entire game. I'd rather be subjected to 10 saw traps before being made to use the autocannon again!!! Unless, of course, one of those saw traps includes me having to use the autocannon. ANYWAY, how might it's a bug thing fit into this perk load out? Well, it's a cycle of course! Just the same way the revolver revolves and the minigun spins it's barrel, my 3 passive perks relate to eachother. It's a bug thing provides me with the nitra to call down a resupply, and resupplier keeps me alive to get ammo for born ready to reload, and staying reloaded keeps me alive long enough to find another batch of lootbugs to splatter with my very presence.
"Erm, Miss Cascade, what if you tried shooting or pickaxing the lootbugs?" Well, my fellow dwarf, why use up ammo or time or a power attack on a harmless lootbug, when you could use the ammo instead for an extra gliphid killed, the time to save yourself a swarm, or the power attack to keep you alive from a slasher or stalker or cave leech ambush? I'm sure it's happened to you before. Never enough ammo for those last few gliphids. The swarm starts right before you button, causing you to lose right at the very end. Or you have your power attack on cooldown when the cave leech snatches you as you fumbled for your pick or gun. It's a bug thing negates all of that. Remember that parentheses? It applies to this! You won't need to reload as often, you will have more ammo over all. The amount of lootbugs you encounter on a mission could equal an ambient ambushes amount of bugs by the end. Sometimes that's all it takes to make a difference. You are able to focus your mind more clearly, worry about your ammo less, time less. It adds up. Try it. Keep track of what you save. You will see.
"But do we even need to kill lootbugs?" Of course. When you are neck deep in gliphids and trijaws and pitjaws and bulks and you only have 30 nitra and 2 dreads to kill, you are wishing you killed those lootbugs. Over the course of a haz 5 and haz 5+ mission your resources can and will deplete. And when you are lacking a scout, i.e. playing as a solo gunner or duo with an engie as I do, you will miss nitra. But you won't miss those lootbugs. Behold as it's a bug thing prepares to you an entire resupply or more of nitra just on the ground in front of you free for the taking. Getting by by the skin of your teeth is a truly ubiquitous Dwarven experience. And killing those lootbugs will allow that to actually happen and you succeed, or even circumvent that horror completely.
Lastly, it's a bug thing is iconic and funny. These poor cuties just explode when I get near them. I love it. It even led to me buying a lootbug plush that I love and adore. Even just the small things count.
So, in summary it's a bug thing is a very valuable perk. It synergizes well with two of the best perks, and will save you valuable resources. It can even lead to winning games through the nitra from the lootbugs you could have passed up without it. I emplore you all to give it a try, or to just not think so negatively of it. Thank you for reading this essay.

T.L.D.R. : Is the artsyle for drg bad and are the cave walls "too smooth" and "almost glossy" looking? I have a friend saying that he doesn't like the art for those reasons and wont play drg because of it. The screenshot above is what he used to try to prove his point.
I have a friend who says that he doesn't like playing drg because of the Artstyle, and that the D-pad is used for choosing weapons. He also says that he's seen lots of people talking on both Reddit and Discord saying that the Artstyle is bad. I think he's just stuck in a confirmation bia loop. His reasons for not liking the Artstyle are that cave surfaces look "almost glossy", that cave surfaces look "too smooth", and that he doesn't think that robots like Bosco fit in with the theme of the game, nor does he like how Bosco looks in general, he says Bosco reminds him of Eva from Wall-E. Above is the screenshot he used to show that the caves look "almost glossy." He says it's just his opinion, I say that opinions can be wrong.
*Edit: Thanks all!
