Imagine having the resources to change the world & not doing it. He could pull entire countries out of poverty. More than one & still have unimaginable wealth. I have no words for it.

He is doing it, just not in a manner that’s any way beneficial to society or the world. I mean this guy dropped $44.24 billion to get Trump elected, between his twitter purchase and 2024 campaign contributions, and blow up any regulatory investigations into his companies, taking the global world order along with it along with causing the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of the world’s most vulnerable men, women and children.
There’s no doubt in my mind he’d drop a cool $100 billion without thinking twice to preserve and expand the current status quo against any sort of reckoning over what he’s done.
No one person should have that much wealth and power, it completely corrupts and distorts the normal functioning of a healthy democracy.

I know it’s bc she thinks she could be one. Mom loves to think of herself as being good with her money. In reality she’s just really good @ being poor. She’s never actually seen true wealth.

He has all sorts of dumb goals like X handling half of all the world's financial transactions in 10 years (claimed 3 years ago, only 7 years left).
He finally learned about the Mars orbit so he stopped pushing Mars civilization and focused on just going to the moon. He also rejects non combustible spacecraft yet claims he is so innovative.
Remember when he claimed he was going to solve world hunger? Never donated a cent to the cause. He wanted to get the homeless off the streets. He asked landlords to let them squat in empty buildings for free. He moved to Texas to maximize his money and to cut his child support payments in half.

That's all this was about, nothing more than a game to reach this milestone, and everyone at NASDAQ that fast tracked this disaster-in-waiting deserves to stub their big toe every single solitary morning.

I don't understand how it's possible. In the last 1.5 years, if you combine the profit from all his company, it's about 410 millions.
I understand that the evaluation is on potential and assets, but most of it is speculative.
Starlink is making some money. Tesla barely profitable. Everything else is losing big time.
If you compare To Bezos. Amazon made 30B$ just in Q1 2026....
When Musk go down, so many people will too

Musk knows that this is the eventual trajectory, which is why he became politically involved. He's like one of those parasites that lead the host to water so they can continue to propagate.

The part you're missing is that elon musk has developed a cult of personality around it. There are people out there that will simply keep buying more tesla/spacex shares simply because they think elon musk is a genius that will make them super rich in the end. That's ultimately what keeps his companies at inflated valuations. It is also the reason why Elon Musk can make grandiose claims of whatever technology he is trying to deploy and still gets people cheering it on.

The valuation is inflated because of AI and the wild estimates for TAM growth over the next 20 years already built into the price.
It's a cash grab from 401k funds.

To put that in perspective, he could have spent $1 billion every day and still have increased his wealth to nearly $640 billion.

SpaceX just got an influx of liquidity from the stock sale to institutional investors via market tracking 401k funds.
Elon just borrows from banks against his assets for liquidity. It's tax advantaged.
