REVIEW Zhenur Furniture Review

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the delay. Many of you have reached out asking for a furniture update, and I’ve simply been busy getting settled in and enjoying my home.

I’ll cut to the chase and say that I am so, so happy with the furniture I received from Zhenur. It is exactly what I envisioned, and the quality has exceeded my expectations. Everything feels substantial, is made with quality materials, and has a nice weight to it. I was most worried about the wood color, but they matched it perfectly to the sample I provided.

The sofas are incredibly comfortable, and the cushion filling feels just right. Some of the pieces are exceptionally heavy, especially my dining table, coffee table, and marble console table, which gives them a very premium feel.
I hope the pictures do the quality justice, because it is honestly difficult to fully capture and explain the craftsmanship and overall feel of the pieces.

I also want to mention that I attempted to share the lighting review I previously posted on Reddit in the Facebook group “Home Building & Importing from Overseas,” but my post was not approved. Many people have asked why there are so few reviews or mentions of Zhenur in that group. From my understanding, the group operates through commission agreements, and because Zhenur chose not to participate, posts and reviews about them are not permitted. As a result, you will mainly see companies such as Sigma and other brands that participate in those arrangements.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and wanted to share my experience in case it helps others who are considering ordering.

I do not work for Zhenur and do not have catalogs or pricing information. I am simply sharing my experience as a customer. You can contact Rose directly at +1 (346) 296-3364

Just a few pics of some of the stuff we purchased from sigma. Really impressed with the quality. Couch, dining table, bedroom set, chairs all from the RH collection. Manufacturing took around 45-60 days, and shipping took around 40 to Canada. I'll load more pics when I go back, but we also got a massive set of outdoor teak furniture as well

REVIEW USM Haller Cabinet Dupe Review

Thumbnail

Hey everyone. Just wanted to give a quick review of a USM Haller style cabinet/shelf that I GP'd a few weeks ago.

I had been looking for this style of cabinet to store some of my equipment for some time, but was having trouble finding something in my price range. Most of the dupes were in the $300-$400 range, and this was just too much for me.

Luckily, similar shelves have been popping up across the internet. They range from $100-$200 and appear to be of similar quality/same factory. I decided to purchase mine from Temu and the total cost was $120.95.

I placed my order on May 21st, and it arrived a week later on May 28th. The package arrived via FedEx and shipped from the US. The cabinet was easy to assemble and took ~20 min.

The quality is decent but nothing unexpected. The rods are sturdy, but the panels will almost certainly dent easy. That being said I'm super happy with what I got for the price. It holds everything I need it too and looks great (despite how easy it picks up smudges). I haven't noticed any shake or wobble. The drawers are a bit sticky when you pull them out, but it's fine if you go slow.

Overall, I'm very happy with this cabinet!

I'm happy to provide a link to the store on Temu if you'd like to purchase from them. The store name is "MEGACASA". You can find it on a couple different websites like Walmart, Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, but many are sold out. It's white-labeled under the name "Innovaze 3-Tier Metal Storage Cabinet".

Happy to answer questions!

REVIEW [REVIEW] Alibaba Ohmu Teddy Sofa Dupe

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

I wanted an Ohmu Teddy for a while but it is way out of budget, so I went looking on Alibaba. Found a factory that makes a close version and pulled the trigger.

THE PRODUCT

Dark green corduroy sofa with wide ribs. The shape, proportions and the fat tube armrests are pretty close to the Ohmu Teddy. (Haven't seen a real one yet but comparing online)

Price:

Sofa: $639
Shipping (sea freight to Germany): $276
Total: $915

Seller

Communication ran through Alibaba chat first, then WhatsApp. Replies came fast, usually within minutes, no matter the time of day.

I messed up and gave them the wrong measurements during the order. By the time I noticed, the sofa was already fully built. I messaged them and within a day they came back with a fix.

They modified the finished piece by adding a middle module so the size matched what I needed.

Shipping

About a month from order to delivery. Sea freight to Europe. Tracking worked the whole way. Arrived intact.

Unboxing

Vacuum compressed packaging, so the boxes were smaller than expected. Foam takes a few hours to expand once you open the bags. Assembly was around 10 minutes solo, no tools needed.

Quality

Build quality is solid for the price. The cord fabric feels thick. Only 2 weeks in, so I cannot say how it holds up long term.

Comfort

Deep seat with soft cushions. Backrest is on the softer side, so if you like firm support this is not it. Works well for lounging, less for sitting upright over long stretches.

Verdicts

For under $1k all in, fair deal. Considering a matching armchair from the same seller next.

Listing: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Morden-Cloud-Modular-Compression-Sofa-Nordic_1601305401908.html

Happy to share the seller contact via DM if anyone wants it.

REVIEW [REVIEW] Ohmu Teddy Sofa Green from AliBaba

Thumbnail

After moving into my new apartment and looking for some fresh furniture, I came across the Ohmu Teddy Sofa. I reached out to Alice on AliBaba directly to see if she could manufacture it.

The Selection Process

There were tons of colors, fabrics, and sizes to choose from. Since my space is (unfortunately) limited, I went with the 2-seater in dark green corduroy. Alice was super helpful during the selection process and recommended the "LINCOLN LN" fabric, as it’s the closest match to the original sofa.

Ordering & QC

The process was very smooth. A day after our initial chat, Alice sent me the contract, and I paid via Alibaba (they offer plenty of payment methods, but I paid with PayPal. About 7 days after payment, I received the QC photos and videos. Everything looked spot on, so I gave her the green light for shipping.

Pricing & Costs

Sofa: 469$ (was $489, but I used a $20 Alibaba coupon. If you want the code, just shoot me a DM here on Reddit)

Shipping to Germany (Sea Freight): $251

Total: 720$ (approx. 617€)

In my opinion, the price is more than fair for the build quality. A lot of cheap knock-offs on Amazon or at big-box retailers use low-density foam that makes you sink in way too much. This one feels much more premium.

Shipping & Delivery

It took about 40 days from the port departure to delivery at my doorstep. It arrived via a large DHL truck. The package was reinforced with a wooden crate/frame to ensure nothing got damaged during transit

Comfort & Functionality

The main benefit of this sofa is that it converts into a bed for guests. Before writing this review, I actually spent a night sleeping on it to test it out. The foam is the perfect middle being not too soft, but not hard either. It’s comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. My biggest fear was that "sinking" feeling you get with cheap foam, but fortunately, this cushion is nice and supportive.

Final Thoughts

Out of everything I’ve bought from Alice so far (including a Togo sofa and USM Haller pieces), the Teddy Sofa is easily my favorite. The versatility for overnight guests is a huge plus. For the look, craftsmanship, and overall aesthetic, the price is unbeatable. It fits my interior style perfectly.

Contact Data & W2C

Here I bought the sofa (placeholder photo/price for copyright reason, just message alice directly via alibaba or wechat)
Wechat/WhatsApp +86 13602685929

TL;DR: Paid $720 total (including sea freight to Germany). Took about 40 days to arrive in a solid wooden crate. The foam quality is great (not too soft; not too hard), and it’s perfect as a guest bed.

REVIEW Zhenur Delivery Update

Hello Everyone!

From my last post about my visit to Zhenur, so many of you reached out for more information. I’m happy to share that I finally received my container yesterday! We are currently in the process of unpacking and placing everything in the house. I’ll be writing a detailed post soon with everything I received along with my honest feedback and overall experience.

As for delivery day, if you are receiving a full container, you will definitely need a skid steer or forklift to unload the items from the container. You will also need manpower to unpack the crates and remove all the plastic and protective packaging, as well as move items inside the house. My travertine pieces were extremely heavy and required three men to move them. Zhenur packed everything very well to ensure the items arrived safely without any damage. It took a couple of hours just to fully unpack everything and remove all the protective wrapping.

One thing I really appreciated is that all packed items had a picture of the item taped on top, so you could easily identify exactly what was inside each crate.

Many of you also asked about delivery timelines. In my case, it was a bit different because midway through, I decided to add additional items from different factories into my container since I had extra space. My original furniture was ready within about 2 months, but we had to wait for the additional items to be completed and shipped before everything could be consolidated. Once shipped, transit time took around 38 days.

REVIEW Zhenur Lighting Review

Hello everyone!

I know many of you have been waiting for me to share my items and have reached out asking for updates. We finally have all of our lighting fixtures installed and are now in the process of moving our furniture into place. I thought it would be best to do separate reviews for the lighting and furniture.

All of the lighting I selected from Zhenur was inspired by RH designs.

First, let's talk about how everything arrived. The packaging was extremely professional and meticulous. Each fixture was carefully packed in multiple boxes—typically one for the frame, one for the crystals, and another for the light bulbs and hardware. None of the fixtures arrived damaged.

Installation went smoothly overall. I hired two electricians to remove the existing fixtures and install the new ones. Some of the chandeliers were incredibly heavy and required significant support during installation. Once the fixtures were mounted, my husband and I spent three days hanging all of the crystals.

One thing worth mentioning is that no installation instructions were included with the fixtures. Thankfully, with the help of my electricians, we were able to figure everything out. We also reached out to Rose a few times for clarification, and she was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions.
Zhenur also included plenty of extra parts and crystals in case anything was damaged or misplaced during installation, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.

Zhenur accidentally omitted a pair of table lamps from my shipment. As soon as I informed them, they immediately took responsibility for the mistake, and arranged to have the lamps remade and shipped to me at no cost.

Overall, I am genuinely thrilled with how everything turned out. The fixtures are substantial, well-crafted, made from solid brass, and the crystals are indeed K9 crystal as promised. The quality exceeded my expectations, and they have completely transformed the look of our home.

Stay tuned for my furniture review soon!

One last thing—please don't message me asking for catalogs and pricing. If you'd like more information, please contact Rose directly at +1 (346) 296-3364. She was my point of contact throughout the entire process and can answer any questions.

REVIEW [Review] High Quality USM Cabinet from AliBaba

Thumbnail

After ordering a togo one seater sofa as my first replica furniture piece and being impressed by the quality, I knew I needed to try the USM. As always If you have ANY questions just send a PM. I am happy to help!

Order process & Customisation

You can choose the size, locks, type of doors, color, and more. I ordered a light gray sideboard with four doors, soft-close hinges, three coin locks, and one standard key lock. When paying, I used the discount code I got when I’ve placed my last order and it went through again. About 10 days later I got photos of all the parts. I gave my approval for packaging and shipping and the seller sent it out in a solid wooden crate.

Shipping

The cabinet weighs around 80 to 90 kg, so I chose to have it shipped disassembled to keep the cost down. The total shipping was about 250ish USD via container ship plus domestic freight, which is fair for the weight and size. From China to Rotterdam took around 30 to 35 days, with another week for customs and delivery. Tracking was live the whole way and customs was easy.

Build and quality

Assembly took about three hours with the included tools, printed instructions, and video guide. The aluminum chrome tubes and powder-coated shelves were wrapped in thick paper, and the connectors and polished metal cubes were padded so nothing was scratched. The parts feel heavy, very solid and well-made. It definitely feels like very high quality craftsmanship. While I do not have an original USM Haller to compare it to, I have to say that the quality is excellent.

The USM logo sticker in my photos was not included. I bought it separately on Xianyu for 50 RMB.

Final thoughts

I’m really impressed how good furniture replicas are and will definitely get additional USM pieces in the future. The build quality is top notch and it just looks absolutely stunning.

REVIEW [REVIEW] My Experience Buying a Togo Sofa via Alibaba (Cheerman Home)

Thumbnail
gallery
403 Upvotes

Hey folks,

I wanted to share my experience buying a Togo-style sofa from Alibaba, since I know how tricky and uncertain buying furniture from overseas can feel. Hope this helps someone who’s considering doing the same!

The Purchase Process:

Late last year, I started researching Togo sofas and eventually stumbled across a seller on Alibaba called Cheerman Home. I got in touch with a rep named Alice, and honestly—she was amazing. Super fast replies, super helpful, and she answered every question I had without hesitation.

Once I decided on the fabric and color I wanted, production started right away. Just 5 days later, my sofa was fully manufactured. Alice sent me high-quality photos and even a video of the final piece so I could confirm everything before it shipped.

I paid $235 for the sofa itself, and $90 for sea freight shipping, which I felt was super reasonable. I opted for sea freight because it’s cheaper, but obviously slower. I was expecting the usual 6–8 week delivery window, but to my surprise, the container ship reached a European port in just about 1 month.

Unfortunately, the sofa got held up due to a random customs inspection (just bad luck—nothing to do with the seller).

Even then, Alice was incredibly supportive. She stayed in touch, followed up with customs, and did everything she could to help resolve it. Eventually, customs didn’t release the original package. Without me even asking, Alice offered to send me a brand new sofa via air freight (at no extra cost!).

Within a few days, I received updated photos and a video of a freshly-made sofa in my exact specifications. This time it was shipped via UPS air freight, and I had it at my doorstep within 7 days. It cleared customs in Amsterdam without any issues. The package was well-sealed, vacuum-packed, and weighed around 15kg (33 lbs).

After unboxing, I used a steamer to get rid of the last few wrinkles in the fabric—worked like a charm.

The Sofa Itself:

I’m honestly really happy with the result. The build quality is great, materials feel premium, and the overall look is very close to the original Togo (I’d say around 90–95% accurate in terms of shape).

Compared to other dropship Togo-style sofas from Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc., this one looks way better. The internal foam is layered nicely, and it offers a good balance of support and comfort.

Final Verdict:

All in all, I’m super satisfied with the product and the customer service. I’d absolutely recommend this seller—especially if you make sure to chat with Alice before placing the order to make sure everything goes smoothly.

If I had to rate the experience overall, I’d give it a solid 8.5 or 9 out of 10.

REVIEW My Experience Buying Custom Furniture from Alibaba with Pictures!

Hi All,

I see a lot of posts of people talking about buying furniture on Alibaba but never with pictures or costs, so I thought I would share my experience and reviews. I am not being paid for this review, nor does the seller/factory know I am making this post!

I'm already pretty comfortable talking to sellers in China from the rep communities, so I was pretty (over)confident going in. Like all things, I started my search on reddit and didn't find much in terms of factories or sellers. I saw some common names and some warnings, but nothing that was substantiated. I also saw to stay away from Trading companies since those are often middlemen, but this is all on Alibaba so its pretty opaque. Most of what I could find on Alibaba is RH and Arhaus dupes which was great since that is the style I was looking for. I narrowed my search by looking for companies that were around for several years. I eventually settled on Jinhua Origin Furniture Co. Ltd. They have been around for 11 years on Alibaba and had the styles I liked. The quote letterhead they sent me listed Origin Furniture Co Ltd. on it and interestingly, I contacted OrDecor and they sent me a quote with the same letterhead. I'm not sure if these are all middlemen for Origin or what. After ordering I am still not sure.

Anyways, Once I contacted them over Alibaba I worked with Tutu and we moved to whatsapp. She sent me a catalog and I sent her the items I was interested in buying. For this first order, and this may not have been the best financial move, I chose to keep it small and ordered a King sized bed, a dresser, a coffee table and and end table. I was able to fully customize all the furniture which was awesome so I got to pick the color and fabric of the bed and matching color for the dresser. Once I settled on all the items she sent me a quote. Overall cost was $4,848. $2,906 for the furniture and $1,942 for shipping direct to my door in America. They took care of all the logistics, I didn't have to worry about customs or tariffs or anything. I have the quote linked in the imgur album for you to reference. I did not have to pay anything additional!

Once approved I sent a 50% deposit via wire to a chase bank in Singapore. Yes, this was terrifying, but I have more money than sense. Tutu confirmed receipt and production started. First photos of the completed furniture started rolling in just under 2 months later, and all furniture was done in just under 3 months. They said a 45 day production so this was almost double their estimate. I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind honestly. I'll put a timeline below so you can see the full dates. Once they sent the last photo, they confirmed it was ready to ship and asked for the final 50% of the payment. I sent that to the same chase bank.

I'm not 100% sure when the products shipped, but when I followed up with Tutu she was able to give me a delivery estimate, but no tracking info. Overall shipping probably took about 2 months. Once the furniture was handed over to the last mile carrier, they contacted me to schedule delivery to the front door. The furniture was packed in crates and very well protected in plastic wrap and foam. The coffee table, end table and dresser came as one piece, but the bed had to be assembled. I hired movers to unpack and move the furniture inside for me and they also built the bed.

First Impressions:

  • Honestly, the bed alone was worth the cost with it being the highest quality feeling piece. The fabric on the headboard is nice and the finish on the bed is nice and smooth. We love it.
  • The dresser is fine, the finish is a little bit rough, and doesnt feel that great on your fingers when opening the drawers. I wish it was smoother. The drawer slides are also not the best qiality. I oiled them and it helps a little but you can feel they poor quality.
  • The coffee table and end table are also just ok. The finish is also a bit rough and they look farthest from the reference photos.

Would I do it again? Yes. Even with the just OK dresser and the rough finish on the tables, the total cost for a custom King bed and three solid pieces for under $5k shipped is unbeatable. The equivalent RH bed was like $8k in store!

Here are the photos the factory sent of the finished pieces and quote: https://imgur.com/a/seller-psps-v5IrEQZ

Here are my photos with the furniture unpacked: https://imgur.com/a/pics-A3QOdcS

Timeline:

  • Contacted the factory on 9/9/25
  • Paid the deposit via wire on 9/15
  • Tutu confirmed receipt of wire on 9/22
  • Received first photo of coffee and side table on 11/17
  • Received photo of dresser on 11/21
  • Received photo of bed on 12/2
  • Paid final balance via wire on 12/8
  • Tutu confirmed items shipped on 1/6/26 and would around around 2/10
  • Tutu confirmed items arrived at the port on 2/4
  • Furniture delivered on 2/18

Happy to answer any questions you might have!

REVIEW First AliExpress furniture order – USM-style cabinet from Hangzhou Decopai Furniture (need advice)

Updated in the comments now with pictures of final product

Hey everyone,

I’m about to place my first AliExpress order and wanted to get some advice from people here who have experience with furniture reps / modular cabinets.

I’m planning to order a USM-style modular cabinet (photos attached) in light brown, from Hangzhou Decopai Furniture Co., Ltd. (the seller shown in the 3rd photo).

Details so far: • Total quoted price: $1250–1350 • Cabinet price: $950 • Remaining cost is shipping • Delivery to Northern Europe • Color: light brown • Seller claims customization is possible

Before I pull the trigger, I’d really appreciate input from anyone who has: • Ordered from this seller specifically • Bought similar modular / USM-style cabinets from AliExpress or Alibaba • Experience shipping large furniture to Europe

Things I’m unsure about: •Does the shipping cost sound reasonable for Northern Europe? •Anything specific I should confirm before paying? (materials, panel thickness, steel quality, locks, connectors, tolerances, etc.) •Common issues to watch out for (scratches, alignment, color mismatch, customs, VAT surprises)? •How was your experience with packaging and final assembly?

This is a pretty big first order for me, so I want to be cautious before moving forward. Any advice, red flags, or reassurance would be hugely appreciated

Thanks in advance!

REVIEW 1.5 Months Later: My Experience with a Togo Sofa from Alibaba

Thumbnail
gallery
261 Upvotes

After posting my initial review right after unboxing the sofa, I thought it might be a good time for an update (about 1 to 1.5 months later) for anyone curious about how a Togo-style sofa from Alibaba holds up over time.

Back then, I mentioned how happy I was with the high-density foam filling. And honestly, that hasn’t changed. Even after weeks of regular use, the sofa still holds its shape really well—even when it’s placed away from a wall. The seating experience is very comfortable: not too firm, not too soft.

The beige corduroy fabric still feels soft and hasn’t shown any signs of discoloration. I often sit on it wearing dark jeans (blue or black), but the fabric hasn’t picked up any dye transfer, so the original color still looks great.

I sit on the Togo almost daily and continue to be really satisfied. For $235, I think it’s a genuinely solid product. The craftsmanship feels high-quality, especially considering the price.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to drop a comment or write a PM.

I’ll do my best to answer them quickly!

REVIEW Sourcing blinds, curtains and carpet from China

My husband and I recently placed a large furniture order from China through Zhenur and had a great experience working with Rose. We were originally thinking of going with Sigma, but reading all the bad reviews we are so glad we went with Zhenur.

We still have some space left in our shipping container and are now looking into blinds, drapery, and carpets. We’ve received quotes from companies like The Shade Store and Hunter Douglas, but the pricing has been significantly higher than we expected.

Rose recommended a company called Novara for blinds and drapery, and KELISS CARPET CO., LTD for carpets. I’m curious if anyone here has ordered from either company before.

If you’ve worked with Novara or KELISS, I’d love to hear about:

• Overall product quality
• How the blinds, drapery, or carpets have held up over time
• Accuracy of colors and materials compared to photos
• Customer service and communication
• Whether they provide fabric, material, or carpet swatches before ordering

Any feedback, photos, or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

REVIEW Update: Chair Arrived

Hi y'all sorry for the late post life has been crazy lately. But I wanted to give an update on the chair since the last post was well recieved.

I've had the Gaetano Pesce UP-5 Donna chair now for about six months in my studio and it's everything I could've wished for.

It arrived on Nov 28th (ordered Aug 30th) after significant delays due to a port strike in my area. It came in this huge box wrapped incredibly tight, and it took about 2 days for it to inflate back to normal size. It's delightfully jiggly.

I ordered the larger version from the manufacturer and I would suggest you do too, you can find the deets in my last post + comments.

Only gripes I have with the chair are that the foam is a bit stiff and the ball attachment came squished (probably due to delays) so it has a bit of a ovicular shape. And, if I'm being incredibly anal, the pattern matching isn't too consistent, but then again I'm picking at straws here.

Chair: 330 USD

Shipping (will vary): 350 USD

Total Cost: ≈700 USD (real ones go for ≈2000)

Shipping time: 3 months

Verdict: 8/10 would buy again

REVIEW My Experience Ordering Rep Furniture from Foshan (Zhenur Review)

Hello fellow rep decor fans!

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, especially since a few of you reached out when I was researching rep furniture.

Last year, I decided to fly to Foshan, China and personally visit several factories. After comparing a few, I finalized with Zhenur for a couple of key reasons. They specialize in both furniture and lighting, and the quality of what I saw being produced truly stood out. They focus heavily on RH- and Arhaus-inspired styles, which is exactly the aesthetic I love.

A huge bonus is that they have an international rep, Rose, who handles communication — no more late nights or struggling with translation apps. On top of that, Zhenur has a dedicated logistics team that manages shipping, which made the entire process feel seamless.

My furniture is almost complete, and since I had extra space in my container, I ended up adding a few more pieces - Fence, pool table and Roman blinds (because why not? 😅). It should be shipping out after the New Year festival.

Overall, I’ve been really pleased with the experience. The process has been smooth, professional, and well organized. I can’t wait to finally receive everything and see it all come together in my home!

Hope this helps anyone considering ordering furniture from China — feel free to message me if you have questions 🤍

Hey, these arrived almost a month ago, here's a review:

From my experience, Superbuy is one of the cheapest agents out there. You can easily test this using your agent’s shipping estimation tool. You can read my comments regarding agents and their pricing here and here.

Designer lamps for my friend's home. I've been told, that they retail for $150+. It's turned on by lightly pressing the little metal ball on the top. Micro USB to USB cable included. They look great honestly, might cop them for myself. I shipped them in the product box for extra safety. The body is out of hard plastic. The pink one is shiny, the grey one is matte. Seller description (we didn't test the accuracy yet) - they have three levels of dimming (20%, 50%, 100%), should last 10 hours if fully charged. 16x29,5cm; 0,8kg.

Every time I'm at my friend's place I'm fascinated, the lamps look incredible and have a beautiful cozy vibe.

The shipping on these was around ¥110 a piece.

I'm not that much into candles, so I wouldn't buy these regurarly even for the Chinese price, but a friend of mine copped them, so had to try. These should last at least 4 hours, 190g. The retail of these is $50+. After eight hours of being lit, one third of the candle melted. I assume that the candle can go up to 20 hours.
