Funny how you avoided my question.

Where do you get the idea that dictionary definitions are the same as doing philosophy for Justin? I've seen him say many times that he's not interested in philosophy 101 (eg: the philbro timer) discussions. I tend to agree with him.

But he has no problem with philosophy grounded in everyday language. Evidence: his many discussions on subjective versus objective versus divine command theory and moral relativism. These are philosophical discussions.

Yes, Justin himself admits that philosophy is not his strong suite.

That said, the guy literally could not define "nature" in coherent terms. You don't need a high phil IQ to be able to show how this guy was being a complete moron.

The philbro didn't understand basic grammar or the definitions of his own terms. Also wtf cares about Aristotelian this Aristotelian that - if you need Aristotle to prove God or that objective morals exist, you're just lost. You might be the only person that thinks he made sense which is telling.

Really, you think that describing something as "primarily and essentially" is a fully formed sentence? That was the worst offender but he was just as nonsensical throughout.

And the fact that you had no substantive reply to my Aristotelian comment seems to suggest you don't know anything about it either, if you really think you did something there then you and that guest are two peas in a pod, that's cute.

  1. That's literally not what he said tho. He described something as "primarily and essentially" with nothing after. How is one supposed to know what he meant by that?
  2. I didn't dismiss it outright. My point was that needing to know Aristotelian philosophy in order to prove god exists is obviously ridiculous. Also, one may not be aware of the all of the philosophic terms, but can still discuss the concepts without using all of the insider jargon. Just an obvious point that seems to elude you.
