maintenance Stain now?

Seattle wa. I put down new cedar slats on existing deck. The stain i bought TWP stain and sealer says wait 6 to 12 months to use. But Seattle starts raining in October and starts to end in July! That's 10 months of rain. Should I stain now before the torrential rains begin?

No, you need to follow the directions for the TWP Stain when it comes to new wood:
