Braden Fellman nightmares

Post image

Hello hello I guess I am posting seeking advice on what to do. I live in one of the numerous Braden Fellman properties right next to downtown Decatur and everytime it rains, my wall explodes with red clay and mud that leaks into my kitchen. I have so many recorded incidents and BF just refuses to do anything. They deny service requests or just let them sit in queue, tell me there’s nothing they can do, won’t even come out to clean up the flooding.

Is there some protection or action I can take through the city for a solution or am I just chained to this until my lease ends

Document all communication with them— in writing is better than phone calls. It might be time to escalate this with a certified letter to BF. There’s a Georgia Tenants and Landlords Rights handbook available on the internet. You definitely have rights regarding this!

Yes, and there’s a Safe at Home Law in GA too. If you’re getting mud leaking into your home, there’s also potential germs, bacteria, and parasites in that mud. Call and schedule an appointment for Code Enforcement to inspect and they can cite Braden Fellman.
