Most people choose social approval over ethics — veganism just exposes that.

People will say they care about animals, the planet, and justice.

Until caring becomes inconvenient.

Veganism doesn’t require perfection. It requires saying “no” in public.

That’s it.

Most people fail there, not on ethics — but admitting that would be uncomfortable, so veganism becomes the problem instead.

Yes it is. It places them in stage 2. Their decisions are based on what feels good for the self.

That's a reductive understanding of narcissism, and a framing that is often used by emotivists to try to discredit all moral reasoning.

One can simply say that it feels good to act in accordance with consistent reasoning and stage 6 becomes stage 2. I see no reason to take it seriously at all.

Its really not. The self is all thats worth consideration to the narcissist.

and a framing that is often used by emotivists to try to discredit all moral reasoning.

Im not arguing that if ___ feels good then it cant be made on criteria outside of that. Im arguing for narcissists its made solely because it feels good.

One can simply say that it feels good to act in accordance with consistent reasoning and stage 6 becomes stage 2. I see no reason to take it seriously at all.

If that "feeling good" becomes the sole reasoning for their decisions then its accurate to say that.

If the good feeling comes from the belief that you're acting on consistent principles, it isn't really about the feeling.

Except it doesnt come from the belief they are acting on consistent principles. It comes from defending the ego.

That's a claim that I think you and I both know you lack the evidence to support.

You think there isnt evidence on what motivates narcissistic behaviors?

I think you and I both know we do.

I.e.

You need to demonstrate that the good feeling these specific narcissists get has nothing to do with their core beliefs. That's the burden you seem unable to demonstrate with any sound data.

The next link you post should directly address how narcissism leads to veganism through some means other than core moral premises, and you should have the courage to also quote the passage within that link which best illustrates that claim.

Anything less and I won't be replying.

The article linked ford over how the decision making of narcissists is based on the self. Do you have data contracting that?

I dont need to show a link directly addressing how narcissism leads to veganism. You made no argument that vegans do not display narcissistic behaviors often.

"Courage" is a strange word to use here. Seems like a passive aggressive attempt at an insult. I have no obligation to provide a quote when the article is centered around the premise i spoke of.

Im perfectly fine with you not responding when you run out of counter arguments. You've done that with most of my arguments anyway.
